  1. republicans= dumb and dumber

Word on the street is that GGK had a lot of Russians in him, as a boy; maybe something rubbed off.

Can you explain how the New Deal reduced unemployment? Specifically, how did FDR's plan bring unemployment numbers back to pre-1929 levels? I have not heard the theory mentioned that FDR's plan was not large enough. That sounds like a fairly standard explanation from a Progressive, though. An excellent book on this subject is 'The Forgotten Man', by Amity Shlaes. She is a financial columnist and takes a non-partisan view (I tried to figure out what "side" she was on, and it was tough).
  3. NATIONALIZATION!

Because you were. Get used to it, there are plenty of people that Obama needs to give your money to, as well.
  4. George W Bush

Sorry, I don't judge on results. I judge on character, and the evidence coming out about Geitner does not encourage me.
  5. George W Bush

That pic is from Tehran, I do believe.
  6. George W Bush

Like choosing a Treasury Secretary who can't even figure out his own tax status?
  7. Obama's Plan for the Jews

Hmmm, let's run down a short list: U.S. Senate Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) Ben Cardin (D-Md.) Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) Russell Feingold (D-Wis.) Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) Taken from This article; I take no credit for the extent of its veracity. Bolded names are by me, and signify those in Congress with significant authority/notoriety/sway.
  8. Obama's Plan for the Jews

He stepped into that arena days after he had MLK, Jr., killed.
  9. The spoiled under 30 crowd

At best. A funny read, nonetheless. I remember card catalogs, busy signals (they piss me off nowadays), AND taping songs off the radio. hahaha. Thanks for the nostalgia.
  10. New Speed Record on El Capitan

Nothing cool about that goober, to be sure.
  11. Rogers Corner and BOC bolts.

This is "internet-speak" for "I ain't done shit anywheres, but there's no way you can prove different. I'm anonymous." IMO, the bolts should not have been put in. The tree was/is fine.
  12. Democratic National Convention

This is the biggest bullshit ever posted here.....LOL..... Don't project your own personal fear of mortality onto others. It's unseemly.
  13. Democratic National Convention

Somehow, I doubt it. If you are white, I definitely doubt it; especially, when you write that reparations tax check every year.

So, you would like other people to work for free so that you can exercise your "right", but you don't have to work? That's fucked up. How is healthcare (that is, medical services which carry a cost) a "right"? Who gives up the "right" to the labor and education of healthcare providers without payment? Living is a right. You would think so if you were the one on the death bed with no money. Living is not a right, but rather a lease given to us by Nature. Believing in life, one must also believe in death, as there are always two sides to every coin in nature. However, your right to life does not eclipse someone else's rights. A right to life is different from a right to free healthcare to sustain said life. Likewise, just because you have a right to life does not mean that you are exempt from inevitable death. And, no, when I am "on my deathbed" I will be most happy to go. I have no concern about that.
