Plus, the climbs are all relatively nearby eachother, as opposed to leavenworth where they are all spread out. When I've been climbing at Index, and then climb anywhere else, I always feel stronger. Mine is Yosemite. Love the long routes, easy approaches, solid granite, generally awesome weather and unusual amenities (dinner at the Awahnee anyone:-).
