billcoe Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 163... Yeesh! Bill, you make me sick to my stomach. Well I'M TRYING...., it can be a little hard to hear my wife of 28 years grab a patch of arm and after shaking around and examining it critically exclaim "What happened here? It's all soft, what happened to the Billy I married? " This morning she was saying "Honey, you're all wrinkly!" I told her it was just age and was starting to get into the full description of such when she interrupted to my relief and added: "I'm only talkin' about your shirt being all wrinkly." Quote

Tokogirl Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Okay, enough political wrangling! 133.5 lbs today - lack of icecream and frenchfries in my diet. My scale says 17% bodyfat but hydration makes a difference. Quote
i_like_sun Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Don't trust those digital body fat scales!!! They tend to over estimate HUGELY. 175 lbs. BF = 6% Quote
Tokogirl Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 ILS, So, how do you guesstimate bodyfat at 6%? Callipers? Water displacement? How often? Quote
Bishopp66 Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 9/5/2007 - 208 9/5/2008 - 180 10 more to go... Quote
sobo Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 9/5/2007 - 208 9/5/2008 - 180 10 more to go... Yet another person who's making me sick to my stomach. Your goal is the same as mine, but I'm not doing much about getting there. At least I started closer to where I want to be than you did. Quote
selkirk Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Is there any way to correct those electronic body fat scales? Quote
builder206 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Is there any way to correct those electronic body fat scales? Even a caliper evaluation is better. Studies show the worst error with a caliper eval is 3%. I arranged for a hydro tank evaluation. Quote
Buckaroo Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 ditch = Yosemite! The "Big Ditch" is more accurate. Quote
Tokogirl Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Okay, I am not one for New Year Resolutions but a few folks expressed interest in reviving this thread. Any takers? How about an update from folks that posted last year? Quote
