My dad emailed me (he is a real moderate, votes both ways regularly) that he'd rather vote for Bush again than vote for Obama. I have not had a chance to talk to him about it yet, but what exactly is the mortal flaw with Obama besides being a little young and fairly new to national politics?

he's realted to cheney.

Nothin wrong with Obama that I know of, racists will not vote for him buth they wouldn't vote for Hillary either. Interesting to see the GOP turned on the huckster and stopped counting when they thought he might win and the Mittster took Maine, talk about dead men walking!

Anyone who needs to sink that level of profanity in a fairly civil discussion like this one only shows their own character.

No one is attacking you two or calling names.

you've openly admitted to doing far worse than name-calling on a bullshit internet forum dedicated to flame wars. what you did actually fucking matters. :ass:

I was speaking of who would not vote for Obama and white racists are in that group, although they are not all of the GOP though they make a significant portion in most southern and many northern states. This has been the case since Nixon adopted the "southern strategy".

but you said they wouldn't vote for hillary either. just out of curiosity, who are these racist, women bashing democrats going to vote?

You may not know that there are African-Americans who would not vote for a black candidate.

And, the South is predominantly Democrat, traditionally.

can you be racist against your own race? i wouldn't be caught dead voting for some cracker

The South was solidly D. until 1948 when Truman moved to integrate the military. The Dixicrats then formed and Strom Thurman took most of the South. They turned to R. after Nixon noted the Success of Wallace and needed help when his administration started crumbling using code words of "law and Order" and "States Rights" to attract the former Dixicrats. What few racist white D.s left usually vote R. The D. party in the south is predominatly Black.

A lot of people are screaming for change, but when it comes down to it they may be more afraid of the impending change than they are of staying the course.

I will Vote for Colin Powel in the primary and I will vote the Only Reasonable party for in the General election, the GOP.

I WILL NOT VOTE SOCIALIST!

You guy lost to the war, or did you forget that?

Yes, I think it will be McCain, and yes, as McCain moves to the center it will push Billery or the Obama-nation to the left. Thus insuing another 4 years of repubican mandates!

Obama can NOT win. The first Black president with be a republican.

Hey KK: here's your man - the chair of Washington's Republican party - on election morality:

Like any sport worth its salt, in politics you have adversaries, opponents, enemies. Our enemies are loudmouth leftists and shiftless deadbeats. To win the election, we have to keep as many of these people away from the polls as possible.

Now your average leftist loudmouth is a committed individual and can almost never be persuaded to ignore his constitutional rights. The deadbeats, however, are a different matter entirely. Years of interminable welfare checks and free government services have made these modern-day sloths even more lazy. They will vote on election day, if it isn’t much of a bother. But even the slightest inconvenience can keep them from the polling place.

Many of the most successful anti-deadbeat voter techniques (poll taxes, sound beatings, etc.) that conservatives have used in the past have been outlawed by busybody judges.

The only means of persuasion left available to us are Acts of God, who we know is exclusively on our side. I’m talking about seriously inclement weather. I want Biblical floods and pestilence. I will settle for rain, sweet rain. The deadbeats won’t even go out in the rain for their welfare checks (they send one of their social workers to pick it up). There’s no way they’ll vote if it’s raining.

check it out

what the fuck does that prove? who cares what someone wrote in the daily? damn you're being dense.

just because you pull up some random shit doesn't make some grand point for your "side". my main point on this thread was that it's total bullshit to vote in the primary for a party you do not support in order to sabotage the process, and no "example" of fraud, stupidity, or misbehavior changes that FACT.

now go lick sack
