Owners probably want to fill at least some of the seats so they're giving 'em away to charities (tax break too!). Anyway, the Sonics game is like carnival. These five minute timeouts every 20 minutes or so, so the break dancers or sonics gals can come out and entertain or the mascots can throw a bunch of free t-shirts around. Hilarious. Oh wait, and they have a little bit of basketball in between. Mariner game, now there's a good time, if you're currently satisfied enough with your life to not sweat wasting 3-4 hours you'll never get back sitting around and handing out money to people. A night on the town. Being a good American and such. Listening to baseball games on the radio, there's the ticket. If you actually have any care for who wins or loses it can give you some emotional lift and drop. Best part is you can do something else while the game drones away.
