AlpineK Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Special weather statement from NOAA: ...SNOW SHOWERS ARE LIKELY IN THE OLYMPICS AND CASCADES ON FRIDAY.. A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL USHER IN A COLDER AIR MASS ON FRIDAY THAT WILL CAUSE SNOW LEVELS TO PLUMMET AS LOW AS THE 4000 FOOT LEVEL. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN 3 INCHES. HOWEVER THE AIR MASS WILL ALSO BE UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. It ain't ski time this weekend but it's getting closer. :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: :moondance: Quote

I'm sure my doctor would disapprove, but if he only knew what I've been climbing. I just need to sharpen my skis reglue the skins and get a new set of safety straps and I'm there. Quote
