MisterMo Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Along with my usual good intentions of coming I could grab the site Friday AM or maybe Thursday PM if it falls through for Sherri.
Bug Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Who wants to lead me up Outerspace or Orbit Friday or Saturday? I've lead them both and just want to get out on a long easy route.
sobo Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Goddammit! Hits my daughter's 3rd birthday right square in the middle of the weekend. I'm out again this year.
Bug Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Bring her out and do a keg-stand in her honor. She can talk about it at shown tell in her pre-school on Monday.
catbirdseat Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Who wants to lead me up Outerspace or Orbit Friday or Saturday? I've lead them both and just want to get out on a long easy route. I've followed the crux pitches on Outer Space. I think I can lead them now, and would like to.
Bug Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Cool. It would be good to follow them. I never have. That is probably all I am able to do at this point anyway.
Mos_Chillin Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 F'in' Hansel drove right by me in the Meadows three weeks ago, and ignored me as I tried to wave him down. Elitist Bastard.
olyclimber Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 It was probably CHUCK who made him keep driving and not stop.
Mos_Chillin Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Whoah! Balla' sighting! ...and no bike. Sweet! I'll be sendin' CHuck some bitchmail, yo
catbirdseat Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 It was probably CHUCK who made him keep driving and not stop. We all know Chuck has it in for you, Mos.
olyclimber Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 there is way more than a 1000 words behind each of those pictures by the way
sk Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Goddammit! Hits my daughter's 3rd birthday right square in the middle of the weekend. I'm out again this year. DAMN IT!!!!! i have kids that weekend. when are we doing tough luv????
selkirk Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Bring em A little debauchery is good for the youngins! After a night spent with drunk climbers they should be good and sober till they're at least 60
Bug Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 You all remeber when I brought my yngn's? They stood by quite amused while I flailed with the tent. My oldest was 8 at the time and ended up patronizing me. "It's OK dad. I don't mind setting up the tent." Not to worry. They seem to have blotted the whole thing out of their memories.
rmncwrtr Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 DAMN IT!!!!! i have kids that weekend. when are we doing tough luv???? Oh, Muffy. I'm crying right along with you. Doubt mr.rmncwrtr will let me go on my own. Darn it.
Sherri Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 You won't be "on your own," rmncwrtr. There's gonna be dozens of dirty, half-baked climbers dancing naked around a bonfire, beating their sweaty chests as they attempt to outspray each other between beer-chugging and newbie-roping contests. Tell mr. rmncwrtr you'll be in good hands.

Sherri Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 A newbie rodeo? A Newbeo? What are the rules? Tsk. If we tell them the rules it really wouldn't be much of a sport, now would it?
selkirk Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 It's kind of like a cross between snipe hunting and calf roping.
Bug Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 It starts with a pitcher of beer and a pair of polypro long johns........................
builder206 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 (edited) A newbie rodeo? A Newbeo? What are the rules? Tsk. If we tell them the rules it really wouldn't be much of a sport, now would it? Careful. Some newbies might be angry, gun-owning paranoiacs. (Really fun to top rope them) Edited September 7, 2007 by builder206
