EWolfe
Dammit, Bones! I found 4 on me after Snow Creek trail hike on Wednesday
DPS
I came back from Leavenworth once and felt something on my stomach. It was a tick with its head buried in my skin. But this tick was running around in circles all crazy like. I think it was just a nervous tick.
Dechristo
Careful... too many ticks in repetitive succession and you'll have a time bomb.
mattp
I think it should be ticks dancing around the maypole instead of ladybugs in that Mayday thread. They started a little late this year, but they are sure dancing around now!
archenemy
I heard that you can wear tick collars on your ankles and it will help repel them. Anyone ever try this? Any other hints on how to stay tickless?
G-spotter
Tick collars on the ankles won't help for the ones that transfer from a branch on a bush to your midriff.
archenemy
Only Olga needs to worry about that
G-spotter
Other species of primates get around this problem through social grooming. You just need someone cute to pick ticks off you.

Aya
Beware of ticks on your dog, too. My dog got lyme disease (despite being on frontline) and it cost me about $1000 all told after all the blood tests and ABs and whatnot. Symptoms can include being lame and hairloss. EWolfe
God, that sounds awfully close to my state of being, maybe I can blame it on Lyme's Disease!
