I'd really like to do a Pub Club next Tuesday and plan to be there if it isn't a smokey dive, like Alki. I really like the Kangaroo and Kiwi. It is on the way to my climbing gym, and it is not smokey. They have food and good beer too.

I take it he's ready to spring for a pitcher.

A Catbid is compound word. A bid by a catbird to get people to gather and drink a mixture of boiled grain with flowers from a climbing vine and fermented by a microorganism that is known for producing CH3H2OH as a waste product.

So much for that idea. I would have gone to the K&K for an Aussie pie and a catbeer, but I was away from the computer all day and at 8:00 pm when I looked on here it was not at all clear there was any gathering anywhere.

I'm sorry we couldn't hook up with you, Matt.

A few of us--Marie, Gary, klenke, archenemy, AlpineK, and myself--met up after the program (which was very funny and inspiring, BTW thumbs_up.gif) and walked down the block to Jai Thai for multiple beers, two vodka gimlets, and several arson attempts by Marie and the bartender.

I saw AlpineK and Gary, but missed the rest of yall (other than the clan I sat with). I was there with the sendbot, and apparently underage drinking is illegal in Washington State, so we could not get into any bars. So instead I went home and benched 350 (12 reps) and squatted 750 (20 reps). Then I practiced my poses, and called it a night.

We need to have a lil film contest like they had (24 hours/in camera editing only).

I don't get that dumb rule. It's not like a toddler is going to be mistaken for a 19 year old trying to get plastered.

I heard that the Montlake Grill is kid-friendly, though it's a ways away from you.
