sisu Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 collin - read your pm's. i hear there's a drytooling area in issaquah. Quote
billcoe Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Damn, I wish I'd seen this earlier Bryan and John, Phil Guidutti and I were out that way yesterday. I'm thinking Tue - Thurs are good days as it lets my bones rest and my wife wants to go on walks Wednesday as well. Â Crap I'm inexplicably out of shape, every muscle in my upper body is sore today...good times. I've been getting out and gardening throughout the winter with an occasional route tossed in. Must not be enough. Â Jasmine says since I'm so old, weak and tired I can be the camp bitch in Yosemite next month. She has me practicing "Do you guys want waffles or pancakes for breakfast" and "Here, I'll clean that up for you I need a rest day and am staying in camp"....she's been teasing me unmercifully with variations of this theme and she seems to get hours of laughter out of this:-) So I'll be in for more laps and real rock bouldering moving forward. Â Â Have fun tonight! Â ps, you guys will like this one. Adam on a ground up FA last week, check out the ice axe:-) I think it's for fending off slug attacks. Â Â Â Quote
John Frieh Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 Yo Bill! Â I have a system board in my garage now if you want to come over and get some punishment prior to your Yos trip. I live even closer to you now (Blandena and Mississippi)... come over and use it anytime! Â Quote
billcoe Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Super sweet John! Is the garage door opener on? Thursday after work perhaps? Â BTW, it would be a great thing if you and Bryan hooked up with Adam (picture with ice axe in the moss above from last Saturday) at some point. Small world his girlfriend lives @ less than 1/2 mile from you in the new townhouses off MLK and Deekum. Â Turns out, she was first responder and and attended to the woman who fell at HT, you guys must have been standing shoulder to shoulder at some point there on Sunday. Quote
billcoe Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Thinking of some TR rock laps (no tools) tomorrow night after work at the butte @ 5:15pm. Anyone want to join in with Plaidman and I speak up. Probably nothing crazy, I'm just starting to come back from an injury and it still hurts, 10s or so.... Â Bryan... Â Â John..... Â other Dudes? Quote
JBo6 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I will be in town after July 10th or so, and would be interested in laps with or without tools. Quote

billcoe Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 thursday????? Â They say it's going to excellent weather tomorrow, Thurs.....what does everyone think? Should we all get our tired out of shape asses outside for some apre-work TR laps? Despite the extra winter lbs and out of condition things I can still belay to 5.10 without too much effort:-) Quote
ivan Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 thank fawk i'm closer to beacon than nasty butte Quote
billcoe Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Ouch! Â Last year I did the afterwork run to Beacon twice, Ozone once and The Far Side several times instead of the Butte. One time it was a 2 hour drive, means you have to sprint up the routes out there and all your time is in the car. Stuck for almost a full hour to get on the bridge to get to the couve. Â btw, 143,808 views of this thread. Some of you need to step away from your puters and get out more:-) Quote
YocumRidge Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Dont be a dumbfuck. What do you think? Of course it does. That's why we developed our own routes that werent preexisting rock climbs. Â So, what areas at the RB or elsewhere in PDX are designated for drytooling? Quote
John Frieh Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 God damn who started this stupid thread!?!? 72 pages of shit if you ask me! :laf: Â Send me a PM or email and I can kinda get you directions to the routes. The best is to meet me out there and I can show them to you as they are kinda hard to find. Â Â Quote
billcoe Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 God damn who started this stupid thread!?!? 72 pages of shit if you ask me! :laf: Â It's got more action than the Nodder crap in spray. Anyone doing RB laps tonight after work and need and extra belay bitch? Quote
John Frieh Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 Headed to Idaho but would love to connect next week... Tuesday? Wednesday? Quote
billcoe Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Idaho? Damn, you're going to run up Elephant Rock again I bet? That's so awesome. Â Tuesday. Let's touch base as it gets closer -have fun! Edited May 14, 2010 by billcoe Quote

billcoe Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Anyone need a belay bitch tonight after work? I can still belay up to 5.9 even if I am turning into a weak assed pussy. You pick the line and I'll struggle up it. Quote
