if she is worth it, go all out, no better feeling than being loved

When I vote in one of Mike's polls on women I stop and think...how can I help Mike make the biggest ass of himself in this situation. cheeburga_ron.gif

I never want to see Mike run out of angst.

great pic jordop...but I just don't get this angst. I never remember things being so difficult as you guys make them out to be. (Disclaimer...happily married and off the street for 15 years.)

my hypothesis: You guys have been lured into this metrosexual bullshit. You treat women as equals. Well they're not equals. They are different. They want you to act like men. Act like men and treat them like women. Express some sincere interest in them as women. Is is really that hard? confused.gif

The poll was about a decision I had to make last year about this time which I very bady regret and it has been slowly eating away at me. I basically lost the love of my life due to a misunderstanding.

Yeah you misunderstood that she didn't like you.

that's bullshit. it does not come around in this lifetime.

i've learned many times that good things do not come your way, the only karma is bad karma.

Good things do not happen. you must MAKE them happen.

Good things DO happen - you just need to pay attention and recognize them when they do (sometimes easier said than done).

hhmmm

Well I think some of the married people who say it isn't that big of a deal don't understand. I'm 20 years old and I have to admit that I am usually very very lucky/fortunate with the women who I have been interested in. I am very outgoing though and usually don't find it too difficult to talk to people. Many of my friends though have trouble expressing themselves and their feelings which does complicate things.

I think the hardest part that maybe Mikey is talking about is figuring out if girls are interested or not. For instance with the girl I am currently seeing I had no clue she liked me until she cuddled up to me during a movie. We'd been hanging out for a month before that happened and was very interested in her, but had no clue how she felt. Asking a woman out when she has no interest puts her in an unusual situation because she either has to say yes and go on an awkward date, or diss the guy and probably lose the relationship if they just met.

Mike, hang tough big guy. Just express yourself as best you can, hide the velcro gloves and don't forget to buy flowers.

on an unrelated note, I buy the best christmas gifts:

Soounds like you're romantisizing a past relationship into something it never was?

Remove yourself emotionally for a moment and think about what happened..

You spent 4? years with this person, lived with this person, and when it ended you seemed pretty content with that decision.

Time goes by and for whatever reasons you begin to forget the REALITY of the realtionship and remember it how you want to, you put your ex and you relationship with that ex on a pedistal where it never really belonged.

If you had deal with REALITY again would you end up feeling any different then last time?

I got to find out the hard way that the answer is HELL NO! hellno3d.gif

Of course results might vary... smileysex5.gif
