It seems as if you are the dork trap here. sk, learn how to ski! everything you can do on a snowboard is way cooler on skis. bachelor is an awesome place to go - plenty of great terrain in a concentrated area. of course, if you lived in seattle, i'd say go to whistler/blackcomb (which is an awesome place to learn, too!) ... but there'll be plenty of time for that later.
