Thrashador Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Drank some of this shite back in the day for gits and shiggles and regretted it. Regretted it severely. I guess if you don't have much dough and want to get lit in a hurry is serves a purpose. [insert projectile vomit emoticon here} Quote
kurthicks Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 (edited) that website reads just like an average weekend here at WSU... "hey man, ya got $5.00 for beer?" "nope, i got $2" "guess we're riding the Train tonight" edit: i vaguely remember drinking a grape MD 20/20 my freshman year that a buddy had found in a pond while searching for frisbees. that was a crazy night! Dan_Harris Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 On the surface Gallo is promoting a higher level of wine. Their estate wines from Sonoma. Yet they keep making and selling swill like Thunderbird and Night Train. It's hard to believe there is that much of a market and that much profit to be made. There are many drinks from Gallo that people don't realize they make. Remember Bartles & Jaymes? Quote
jordop Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 That page is a perfect resource for new route names on the Wine Spires at WA pass!!!!! Quote

willstrickland Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Mad Dog High school beverage of choice when we couldn't get beer was MD 20/20 Lighting Creek (the clear one) mixed half and half with Mountain Dew. Yummy. A couple of bottles of Boones Strawberry Hill would spread any cheerleader's legs. I prefer a nice merlot these days Quote
foraker Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 lawgoddess, you spend way way way too much time on the internet if you know where to find such things. :-) Quote

Dan_Harris Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 And for those who prefer their beverages malted: Beginners Guide to Malt Liquor Malt liquor, more swill. All those "wine coolers" like Bartles and Jaymes etc. are not wine but beverages made from malt. Quote
layton Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 WHERE'S RED RIPPLE?????? can't leave that taste beverage out of the running? Quote
Dru Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 there used to be this cheap, sweet red wine called "Raven Red" with pictures of totem poles on the label but it was found to be discriminatory and cancelled Quote
glacierdog Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 I had a night of neu wine in germany. It was barely aged at all, super sweet. My mouth felt like the Sahara for 2 days afterwords. Quote
