Help a out Don't know about the reincarnation thing,or Muffy? ...Oh who the fuck is Muffy?? Muffy defined. And just so you are aware, it is considered highly improper, and an egregious error not in keeping with the high moral standards of this board, to summon discussion of The Muffster with such crass interrogatories as "Who the fuck is Muffy? You have been duly warned...

It was right around that time; shortly after Halloween. I may not have been online immediately after Halloween, cuz that was a Friday and I prolly left my laptop at work for that weekend. So I would've noticed things not working quite right the following week at work, beginning November 3.

A week or two ago seems about right; sometime right after Halloween. But just before Tvash posted his Quotes thread, cuz I'd been struggling with similar "unright" issues at that time, too, and was sensitive to things not working as they used to.

BTW jon, scratch what I said above about the cursor returning to the top of the page if I left the mouse alone for a bit. It's not going back up on its own anymore. It's been staying stuck down in the banner ads at the bottom of the page again, right after I posted to you that it was returning if I didn't fuck with the mouse. I've not been fucking with the mouse, and now it's back to the same old-same old of parking itself at the bottom of the page. You may have been tweaking the board while all of this has been going on... Windows XP Pro, SP 2 IE 7.0

Well, I just tried that, and yes, it's pops back up to the very first line of what will become text in the "reply" box. It does not pop back up all the way to the top of the page, just the top of the dialogue box for replies/posts. You're getting warmer. There's still a problem with the quotes, too. I've noticed, as did Tvash, that after about the third or fourth time a post is quoted, the original authors become hard to distinguish, because the software doesn't attribute the quoted text to the correct author after a certain number of embedded/multiple quotations. But when you go into the edit screen to check the tags, the "quote" and "/ quote" tags are all in the right position and embedded correctly. But when you submit and go back to the board, it's still fucked up. That's gonna be a real hard one to figure out, because it appears correct in the edit screen. For an example, check out the exchange between me and Bug in my birthday thread. In the 15th reply (post from Bug), it appears correctly. But in the 17th reply (from me back to Bug), it's all fucked up and the attributions appear to be reversed as to who posted what. This is happening all over the board when the number of embedded quotes reaches about the fourth reply.

    Hey Sobo

I don't want to hear what you're touchin. Specilly if it anin't attatched no more. I can't touch 'em. My wife keeps them in a jar on the mantle. They've been there a while now. I get to see them every day, though, when I walk through on my way to the kitchen. You shoulda told me that BEFORE I got married. Shit, Keith, didn't you learn a damned thing the first time around? At least I have an excuse!

We did an extremely similar thing wherein we played Batman and Robin. The "car" chase scenes we did out on real streets were a h00t!

When this happens to you, is one of the ads blank and has a blue x in the upper lefthand corner? I have a feeling this is some strange issue with a broken ad. No jon, the ad's not broken. A couple of weeks ago it was the "Hiking Singles" ad. I thought mebbe you guys were trying to tell me something. Last week it was some computer game (??) ad with a kid riding a bicycle down a street, dodging monsters, avoiding aliens, outwitting ninjas, etc. "Enjoy the wild ride at nowwhat.com" was the ad. Looking forward to what this week's drop-the-cursor-to-the-bottom ad will be...

I think that was an excellent suggestion and would be fuk'n hilarious! You'd prolly want to film it outside, though...
  22. Rick- Check out this thread. Scroll down to DrJenn's posts. She mentions a Spencer. If you climbed with the same Spencer that sets the routes at the Tri-City Court Club, then send a PM to Jenn and I'm sure you'll get hooked up. If Robin is the dude that sorta looks like Begbie from the Trainspotting flick, then you'll find him there, too. Cheers!
  23. Walked around the corner to the kitchen for another BB Porter, and what did I find? We had an open house last night for our new office location. Wally, the office manager, had brought out the leftover wine offerings. I'm into a charming glass of Goose Ridge 2005 Cab. It's not entirely tantalizing, yet I'm amused by its presumption. Sobo, what other reds do you have to offer? We had quite a few other fine Northwest reds, but the ones that struck my fancy the most were all from Fidelitas: the 2005 Champoux Vineyards cab and also the merlot, the 2005 m100, and the 2005 Optu red. Of course, it doesn't help my opinion that I'm a Fidelitas wine club member...

That's one of the funniest closers I've seen on this here board yet! Ah think Ah kin hear dem banjos a-playin' now...
  25. 20% abv??? FAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWK!!!1 You think thats a lot or something??? Oh wait!!! Your American Marc, that's 20% ABV for a beer... that's a lot in any country. There's not too many beers out there that go that high, and none of the ~20 I've tasted that are anywhere near as good as that Dogfish 120 minute IPA. Canada doesn't produce beer under 60% though... It still takes 6 or seven bottles to get your average lightweight drunk up here... Nothing less than 60% ABV, eh Marc? What's the name of that horsepiss again? Oh yeah, Moulson. 60% my fuk'n ass.
