One guy kayaked this earlier this year. [img:center]http://www.spokaneoutdoors.com/images/pfalls01.jpg[/img] Rappelling the falls is the obvious next step. Of course this is Eastern Washington, so it might not fit into your plans. The falls are 198' high. I bet you don't want to reset partway down, so bring an appropriate rope. 400' at least if you want to pull the rope from the bottom.

Sorry landlords don't follow those rules for anybody native or non-native. I think you could add routes to the list less technical than 5.9, but they would have to involve long approaches/bushwhacking. The standard route on Nooksack Tower is sub 5.9, but I bet not many climb it.

After Sarah Palin resigned Fairweather was the third person to sign on to her 2012 fan club/election committee. I'm sure after she officially resigns she'll take a nice vacation including helicopter flights in Siberia plugging wolves and praising the lord. Fairweather will keep us posted.

If only McCain had won He would have fixed things right. All those unemployed folks would have work because he would put em all to work starting a new war in Iran.

Having family in the PNW since the 1880s and being a second generation climber I'm sorry to say the answer is No We'll give you rent free guest privileges though

It's not that hard in the States to get a passport. Go to Kinkos or wherever and get a proper photo then go downtown with good ID and fill out some paperwork. They mail you your official passport in a couple weeks. It does take a little line standing.

I've tried a couple times, but I get a message, . Maybe in my case it's due to the fact I haven't looked at the site in months.

I've carried a sat phone when we were way in the outback (we had to call for a pick up). I don't understand the need, but I imagine you could take your iPhone and a solar charger. Better yet take a hamster cage with a generator and trap marmots then make em run.

I ditched TV after the free cable that was hooked to my house got cut off years ago. I waste enough time, and TV would only add to that. Now on top of that you need a converter box. TV's are fine if you decide to rent a movie, but that's about it. I had no idea who those two pictured people were.

I could see a direct correlation if Kevbone's departure triggered the demise of Eddie Van Halen. Boulder can be a fun place. Eventually it will grow on your nerves though. Make sure to go down to the Mall and check out the zip code guy (I think he must still be there). There should be lots of 20 something folks hanging out on the Hill next to CU. They may look capable of work, but they're all begging for money. I am curious if there is still a big trailer park in north Boulder. My memory is from the 90s and the trailer people may have been forced to live in Longmont.

I believe Fairweather is missing the key point that the plan isn't to eliminate all private health care. You will still be able to purchase a private plan. The plan is an alternative health insurance that you can purchase and pay for if you want to. Of course if Fairweather is on target with all the other Republifucks the response will be that we aren't privy to the final solution. All the key Republifucks are privy to classified information that the current government is going to show up at the corporate headquarters of Lifewise and Blue Cross with a group of special forces and shut them down two months after the new plan goes into operation.

Seattle Climber at the South Pole
AlpineK replied to Captain Crunch's topic in Personal Climbing Web Pages
My sister worked at the South Pole cooking for all the folks stationed there. My bro-in-law worked at the pole as a crane operator. I believe Raytheon Corp is in charge of hiring and posts jobs Raytheon (I didn't search) You could also be doing Physics research and need to make observations down at the pole. Ok here ya go this is the specific site to explore for jobs Raytheon Polar Service -
I ended up deleting 6 of Pope's mountain bike forum posts in different forums. The idea of a new forum for mountain biking isn't a bad idea. At the very least it's something to talk about. When it gets turned into a spambot event though that's too much.

Just for the record, as drinking coffee, I deleted this subject from 6 other forums. Spray is definitely a good place for some of the discussion on the subject though. It's a keeper here. Is Pope really a spraybot? :[]

Did you have to get an official card that certifies you as an alcoholic in order to get a drink? I hear they used to have those in Pakistan.
