Kill your lawn. You'll save money on water bills, time spent mowing you lawn, energy used for mowing(fuel). Plant some native stuff that doesn't need much water. Then not only will you be eco you'll be saving money. You can always visit the lawns in the city park.

Obama/Hillary would be a really bad idea. She should just get it over and give up now then go back to her spot in the Senate.

Bummer dude. I had to do one of those last year. Mine was easier though since I only worked half of '06. All my records are on Quickbooks, and I'm no expert on using that program, so it was a little tough. Anyway I'm skiing Saturday at WA Pass the either skiing on Sunday or climbing at Goat Wall depending on the weather.

That's an excellent visual indicator of possible problems. I've had ropes with me while skiing things like the Spearhead, but I've only used a rope for rappelling.

Hmmm Kevbone has been posting just less than 3.5 years. You would think in that time he would know who Erden is or at least recognise that he'd seen that name before. Not really the sharpest stick in the pile. Anyway back to the real subject. It is tied in with climbing yet different. Erden has done some rad stuff.

I have no idea why you would spend money on something like that. Just do what the hard core truckers do. 1 Stop at the store and buy a soda 2 Hop in the rig a head out on the highway 3 drink the soda 4 piss in the empty soda bottle while you drive 5 Role down the window and chuck the newly filled bottle on the side of the highway. You get a soda and a piss break all in one, and you give the highway workers something to do when they clean up the side of the highway.

Judging by the image The woman looks like she's laughing as she walks by her wrecked company (police) vehicle. Perhaps she'd have a different attitude if it was her vehicle. You don't like Evergreen Fairweather. You've stated that a few times. I'm not sure what to say. The college runs the canopy crane down in the wind river forest south of Mt. Adams. That's a pretty cool thing. I got a ride in it once. They do a lot of interesting research. On the other hand I don't like hippies, and they have a few down at the college.

i have 2 boys and i totaly agree with this. I am NOT a fan of toy guns. I think if someone wants to learn to shoot they should learn to shoot a real gun. Toy guns should be sticks. God knows my boys have had hours upon hours of entertainment plaing swords and guns with sticks they find in the back yard. I may have had a water gun as a kid, but other than that it was sticks for guns and swords. I managed to have just as much fun that way. Guns were always real and always a serious thing. This is a real

Try landing or taking off from a small island with big breakers..it's crazy and requires talent.

Yeah fun stuff, but I decided it would be a good activity when I am old my body can't take the climbing, freeriding and snowboarding. I used to hang out with a bunch of folks who did a lot of whitewater kayaking. I did a little bit and yeah it is fun, but skiing and climbing really held my interest. I've never sea kayaked, but I have spent some time in the ocean in a canoe. That's a lot of fun too, but it ain't climbing. I might do more of both when I get older, but if you want to get good and do the crazy stuff you need to start younger and stay focused. That's true of any sport.

Snowshoers in skin tracks piss me off I've seen a bit of that this winter, but I don't remember it being a problem at previous Ski Ins.

I've been on top and looked at the crater thinking it would be fun to go down there, but I never decided to. I'm sure the mobiler had no intention of actually going down there. Dumb or not it's a funny story to tell folks years later especially since buddy didn't get hurt too bad. -
Occasionally I listen to the program As It Happens. Other than that it's all been Trailer Park Boys and Second City TV. 0B-Bcmc9YfI I do like listening to news on the BBC, but obviously than's not Canadian....well there is the bit about the British queen on your paper money, but we'll let that slide.

Sorry I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. There is a great Taco Truck on NE 145th just east of 15th Ave NE (remember east of 15th at a gas station on the north side of the road. Don't go to the one on 145th west of 15th) They have cheap tacos. There are also a few good ones on Aurora south of 150th... and a ton down in the south end of the city. Try Rainier Ave.

Nothing beats an alpine high - and it's 100% due to naturally occurring compounds! As far as I'm concerned if you want a substance that you can take over and over then I'm totally down with an alpine high or any equivalent that gets you out in nature away from the human produced world. However on rare occasions it's just fine to take a chemical or natural product that will briefly change your perspective on things. You have to be very careful about doing stuff like that though. I heard an interview with Albert Hoffman back a number of years ago. He was ask if he would ever take LSD again. His answer was he would consider it partly to evaluate the drug once more. The best example of use of a hallucinogenic substance I've seen was in a documentary I saw on Indians from Bolivia (or Peru ?). They would go off to a mountain lake with a shaman. All of them would take some hallucinogenic substance and then have a religious or spiritual experience. One of the main points is that to them it was an important experience, but they wouldn't do it every day. In fact I believe they only did it a few times in their lives.
