  2. Try the BD hemisphere. Its on clearance via their website. The large size is honkin' huge.
  3. I'm just trying to help her understand my little, inane jab at her misuse of the term rape but I am failing miserably so I will give up.
  4. Does that help Allison? Let me direct you to the quote that is in BOLD. As for your question re whether you are a feminist or not: I really don't care. Thats not the issue nor the point.
  5. The idea of a gang rape or a gang er, bang, is not something that the female psyche typically finds sexy or appealing. It's terrifying, it's offensive, and it is completely inappropriate, even to spray. Itseriously makes me want to vomit. How whis is even remotely funny is way beyond me. To put another view on it: how would you feel if this remark were directed at your wife, daughter, or girlfriend? I'm assuming the above comments were not directed to me since they are definitely not reflective of my feelings nor are they responding to what I wrote. But what the hell, I'll respond anyway. I was joking about the dissonance between the definition of rape and the use of the word "willingly" as an adjunct to that. Its not my problem if you try to dilute the definition of rape by attributing willing participation to it. I'm no feminist, nor do I play one on the web, but I'm guessing they would be offended by YOUR comment as much as by cavemans. As for my wife, if she was as active a participant to this board as you are, I am pretty sure she would expect that type of retarded comment from Caveman (a.k.a. Potsy with Tourrettes). She's also be pretty unlikely to get her panties all wadded up about it too but then again she married me so she can't be all that bright.

  8. Gee. How many war vets oppose this war? Another fact you so neatly elide. I'm a vet. I oppose the war.

    Whoa ...

Although you don't look that . . well, "endowed" I'd suggest wearing a bra to prevent that.

    Dogs?

I was at Smith on Saturday and between the screaming infants next to me and the dogs across the park I was ready to throttle someone.
  11. the gate is open now?
  12. these aren't waterproof? Or are they not neoprene? My friend says her drysuit is made of neoprene. Nope--those are PVC which is coated nylon, not neoprene. Your friend may very well have a neoprene drysuit but as I recall those are not completely waterproof. Neoprene wetsuits are not waterproof either--hence the term wetsuit.
  13. I've been bike commuting in Portland for over 15 years of which I'd say about ten of those years were spent wearing headphones while riding. Never had a problem I can attribute to the headphones. And I am still alive. I've gone through about 15 different headphones with marginal success. I noticed some new-school earbuds that have clips that go over your ears. Anyone tried those out yet?
  14. Your dryer has a spin cycle?

  25. Caveat: this is dangerous and should only be practiced by professionals. I was never a pack-a-day or more kinda guy but whilst in the Army I was a regular smoker. It carried over off and on into civilian life until I came to the conclusion that its a disgusting habit and I wanted to stop supporting a horrid industry. So to rid myself of the smoking urge I focused on creating the most god-awful memory of smoking I could fathom so I could harken back to that in the future when the urge hits. I purchased a bottle of Hood River Distilleries finest scotch, two packs of smokes and proceded to get snot-hanging drunk. The next morning my mouth felt like the inside of my fathers '69 Fairlane ashtray and I was cured. About once a year or so I have a cigarette but usually can't even make it through an entire smoke without my gag reflex kicking in. I wish both of you the best of luck in kicking the awful habit.
