If you know the name of the business you can find their contractor number and from there you can file a complaint with the state. They are liable to the damages to your car (obviously) and very well could get a fine from the state. That is if you want the mofia after you.

I'm not sure if that stuff will be migrated over. I would copy all the links into a text file if you can. I've had one user report losing all their PMs when they hit the print icon, I'm not sure what that is all about and am looking into it, so I would avoid doing that, just cut and paste the info into a text file.

I think when all was said and done I spent somewhere in the neighboorhood of 2000 hours involved with SAR. That doesn't include gas, class expenses, equipment, etc. It came to the point where it was hard to justify the time and expense. I don't think climbers rescues cost any less, but there are sure far far less of them. One search that stands out in my mind was a women who was lost with her baby and two dogs on Tiger, I think maybe during the fall. People were pretty frantic to find her because of the baby and it was getting a little chilly out. I think there were two helicopters in the air with infrared. We found her pretty quickly but the amount of resources used was enormous! Why aren't people writing letters about people like this who are endangering another person (their child) and are ill prepared for such environs? Sorry to say I'm all about survival of the fittest.

I think the reason is because law enforcement can be more involved in a search operation in the woods versus a rescue up in the mountains.

You guys are so sure they are taking drugs but you don't even know what effect they are looking for except that they can ride faster. Beside boosting your red blood cell count really how many things can you take that will really help!

I was in SAR 10 years ago and probably half the time our pagers went off it was to look for runaway Alzheimers patients.

Vireque, Pantani, Hamilton never tested positive until the end either. Neither side has any "proof", the only facts that exist are that he hasn't failed any of the current tests, which don't prove he isn't a doper. Virenque retired last year, he tested positive like 9 years ago in the Festina scandle! Pantani to my knowledge never tested positive although he did die from a cocaine overdose Tyler, well that is a different story.

David Walsh is a sack a shit, and he was before he wrote the book. I think it's really sad that any athlete at the top of their game get accused of cheating/doping. I'd love to see anyone here survive a week of training like these guys do, you would just fucking die. And that whole physical thing, dude they visited him in his hospital while he was almost dead and they wanted him to take a physical, it wasn't about the money you fucking idiot it was about the pricipality of the matter! Half of marriages in the US end in divorce, but apparently pro athletes who travel all around the world who's marriages fall apart get accused of dumping their wife. Get real!
