I have to admit I'm pretty close to leaving basic research, which is really too bad because I'm pretty gifted at it and work hard and most of all enjoy it. I also expect to get paid though which is the rub. Of course between two wars and lots of natural disasters maybe the government has already made up my mind for me, it's a lot easier to quit when there is no salary for you!

I recently flew from Seattle to Amsterdam with a large diameter coil bike lock in my carry-on. No problems in US security, but they took it in Amsterdam when I went through customs/security, and there was no way I was going to be able to put it in my checked luggage because it was in process.

Well folks as of yesterday cc.com is officially 5 years old, and what better way to celebrate it's birthday then chicks making out at RopeUp...... hell yeah. Yes some of you have wasted 5 years of your life in the place. Anyways we have some big improvements lined up for this place in the next couple months so keep your eyes open for announcements regarding the big message board upgrade.
