Do you have info on the hike around. We've looked at it from 2 and it seems to cliff out.

True. Mountain wedder changes quick and can be unpredictable. However it seems like many fatalities recently involving people getting stuck in storms were a result of those people either disregarding or disrespecting obvious forecasts for shite weather.

I don't think you'd have much luck getting people on board with a plan that let's people die w/o attempting a rescue because people didn't bring a PLU, or whatever the fuck its called.
Seems to me the whole idea of an "ice-fest" is stupid and counter-productive unless you like waiting in line for climbs and climbing hacked-out ice.
More people = less ice and more danger.
