  1. Yeah it looks like the weather is going to be pretty bad. 80% chance of precipitation for Issaquah. How does next Wednesday sound?
  2. That looked like a freakin awsome trip.
  3. I kept getting the 404 error and thought it wasent posting... I would be down for that Josh. Do you all want to hit up Exit 38 this Wednesday (depending on weather)? I dont really care what wall, any preferences?

  5. Braydon, that is what i was wondering myself. What time works best for everyone? I get out at 1:40 but was hoping i can hich a ride and split gas. I can meet any one around Bothell or other near by places.
  6. Now that there are longer days and better weather (hopefully, maybe, we’ll see) Mattp and I have talked about making mid-week climbing trips after work to either Index or Exit 38. Is anyone else up to this or have any other good ideas? Maybe we could set up a car pool or something… What do you all think?
  7. Or kick out all the band groupies...
  8. Anything is possible if you go for it. You just have to put in the effort.
  9. Hey thanks alot penoyar. Ill have to try and see if i cant get that down or at least look more into it. I saw the climber last month on Substation Wall with his 2 dogs.
  10. Thanks Rocky, Baltoro and Matt. I will look more into some less "chiropractic" ways.. Matt are you still still interested in those trips to Exit 38 or Index?
  11. Thats too bad... Im supposed to be up there April 6-12...
  12. The last time I was at Exit 38 I saw a guy self belaying himself leading on a sport rout… He wasn’t using any fancy self belay device or anything… He would somehow tie himself into quick draws as he would place them. I sort of have the idea but am not really sure how. Does anyone know how to do this or know any sites that would explain? I’ve googled it but nothing really came up.
  13. If you do this again this summer, i would be down.
  14. The average age for the big E is pretty old be cause you need experiance points. I dont know much about Pumori but you really should maybe get some more experiance but... Good luck to you and you quest for altitude! You might want to reed the book Within Reach: My Everest story by Mark Pfetzer. Its about a young climber who attempts Everest (didnt summit due to May 1996 disaster). He wrote letters to local businesss about his goal and asked for support and it worked. You really should read that book. The author did a lot altitude and tech-skills befor he attempted the E.
  15. I just asked my brother who uses them (he loves them) and he said his didnt stretch much. Maybe half a size but... Thats him.
  16. If it takes 8 years to finish high school who cares?

Umm... When i clicked on your link, it was of a trijicon scope... I know Ted Nugent uses them but what does this have to do with a UK article? There made in Michigan.
  20. For sure, Mattp! Do you want to post something?
  21. Hello Matt, I just checked the RMI site and there are spots avalible in mid August and more... You can check here: http://www.rmiguides.com/rainier/introduction.php and click on the "avialability" and select on the date that you want. It looks like they have plenty of trips available this summer. With Mountain Maddness via the Kautz Glacier is full and that looks like there only Rainier trip...
  22. I separated my clavicle and my shoulder bone flying over the handlebars of my bike about three years ago. I can sort of noticeably see it but I dont feel it anymore.
  23. Hey Matt, it was nice meeting/climbing with you. It would be nice to get on some real rock. Catbirdseat: think of the positives, at least you have a nice beach.
