  1. If you dont like using the ATC you can try it with a figure 8. That might work.
  2. I remember my old teacher showing us a slide show of him doing this back in the day.
  3. Thanks Kevin and Daniel. Do any of you have any beta on the Sherpa Glacier route?
  4. Since we dont have much for a trad rack, is that is a route you would still recomend?
  5. I was thinking about doing Stuart in the next 2-3 weekends from now up the Cascadian Couloir... I was wondering if anyone knows how the conditions are up there or can tell me how the avy danger is in the couloir. Thanks a lot, Collin
  6. Stone Gardens and Vertical World remind me of skate parks.
  7. Freedom bread... But sound good.
  8. Thats good hes alright. My brother and I saw the SAR teams on the hill.
  9. Thats pretty funny. If i had the cash i would do it for sure haha.
  10. It sounds like a good idea Frank but I agree with sobo. Someone is bound to knock it over or vandalize it somehow.
  11. Here is a link for more info on aviation archelogy. I tried finding some planes out near Ellensburg but didnt have enough info to actualy fin the P-38... http://www.aviationarchaeology.com/ It has a lot of info for learning the basics. Here is a message board with some pretty helpful people on for locating crash sites and other info: http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/mb/pacaeropress I dont mean to 'advertise' other message boards...
  12. There are always going to be people who will snach peoples gear every chance they get but in other cases it might look like they abanded there gear. Like i said before, i cant spell.
  13. I suppose im used to climbing in Vantage and havent seem QDs hangin around but it reasonable if there are other hard routes like that in the area and thats what people do... Some times its better to trust yor own gear though. I dont like the idea of leaving gear around.
  14. Nice. What was that on???
  15. Haha about 2 posts ago, i was going to add that although i am passing english i dont know grammar or spelling for (inset word that starts with 's' here).
  16. Thats what i would think...
  17. Maybe someone set your gear at the bottom of the climb because they wanted to climb that route and didnt trust your "older" gear, then a flatlands park ranger picked it up thinking it was trash (ok that was dumb, but really). Is sorta how people leave webbing and when it looks old people cut it off. I think its fine to leave gear but when other people are wanting to climb that same route... Is it ethical to park your car on the sidewalk and expect it not to get towed?
  18. No problamo Bret, but if your QDs get snached after leaving them up there for more than 24 H's, there gone. Good luck on climbing that route, though. Whats it rated?
  19. Its the end of a weekend, getting dark out and i see some quickdraws. Hmmm...
  20. Its probably best to take your pro out when you leave for the day... Many people might think you left the pieces because you could not finish the climb and that maybe you were not coming back. If i were you i would not leave any QDs for more than a day unless you were coming back in the morning. Thats just my 2 cents.
  21. I now want to go swimming. I didnt know France really looked like that.
  22. Dang birds... Nice pics though.
  23. I hope its not just for the weekend.
  24. Who put it in?
