  14. While you guys were bickering about naming routes, I went out and climbed some. I'm hella stylish. Apparently the falls is not in good climbing shape right now.
  15. Yeah, Craig and I appreciated running into you guys on the trail.
  16. For what its worth, it was dumping snow this morning. There were a total of five of us that turned back. There was 12+" inches of fresh snow at the base of the mountain and it wasn't letting up. Meh, nothing like a 9 mile hike at 3 in the morning.
  17. Rob, didn't make my lab that afternoon, my partner moved a lot slower than we planned because of his diabetes. Its all good though, made up lab yesterday. Escalade, not sure if you'll see this before you climb it, the snow above the couloir was great after the first like 50-100 ft where you are traversing below the rocks.
  18. waterproof supports weight well Good crampon and ice tool holders durability thats just stuff off the top of my head. And yeah, I would buy from local companies if their gear is as solid as any other competitors.
  19. While this isn't nearly as exciting as climbing cool routes on dragontail, I just thought I'd add some pictures from this morning's adventure. Also, path is super packed from road to lake. Took me just under 4 hours to reach the colchuck/dragontail side of the lake. Stuart in early morning sun Early morning glow... Finishing the route. Took around 12ish hours car to car. If anyone wants photos from surrounding peaks regarding conditions, I probably got'em because I killed time by taking pictures while waiting for my friend.

    I wish I had a cool dad.
  21. This may be a dumb question...what about hubba hubba? I've looked at it three days this week on my way in/out of colchuck lake and it still looks pretty good - from the road at least. What if someone was to get on it before the sun hit it?
  22. My ass 30 more minutes and you're in vantage. Does this guy own a helicopter or something?
  23. Sure, if you give me a piggy back ride on the way down. But really, ok..
  24. Avalanche conditions are LOW according to NWAC. Me and some other people broke trail up to colchuck lake this weekend. I want to get back there and climb the NBC tomorrow night/thursday morning. HIT ME UP. 425 246 5500 Kevin
  25. I think we saw you crossing the lake as we were leaving. There was another group we broke trail with on saturday, are they on here?
