Recycled, Thanks for the response. Upon some searching I found there is a plant in ellensburg that makes biodiesel from 100% Northwest materials, so I'm going to talk to them some more. As regards to the tank problem, if you cleaned the tank out before using BD, would that solve the problem? Or is it unavoidable? What kind of diesel do you use? So between the rising gas prices and the movie I saw last week, I got thinking about using biodiesel. I was curious to hear what the critics on this board know/think about it. What does it take to convert from regular diesel to biodiesel? Who has done it or know people that have done it? I'll be doing some of my own research but was interested to get some feed back as well. Thanks. (The movie was produced by Kavu about two white water kayakers who renivated an old Chinese firetruck and drove from Alaska to South America without using any petrol).

Perhaps you could check UW's student classifieds for people trying to sublease their place over the summer when they are not using it.

There was this luncheon for people who have donated to CWU's scholarship fund. And since I'm on a relatively large scholarship I was sort of obligated to speak about how much its helped me and such. Make them think their money is going to good use...not climbing gear.

Dude its only been a day, why delete it so soon? I was going to post there but I can't! Perhaps thats why there is no interest.

How big is your car? Or should I say truck? A couple of the slides are pretty mellow, one is a lot bigger - I'm thinking up up to 50 degree angle up and down. Kind of like large moguls if that makes sense. There is also a tree that takes up a good 1/2 to 2/3 of the road, but its not that big. Perhaps someone else with better memory can help. I was up there last week and parts of the road of the first mile or so were bare to the ground. But it was also dumping snow when I was leaving and haven't been back since.

Haven't been on the westside of the mountains for a while...anyone been up there recently or checked out the face at all? Its probably a little late in the season but I was hoping with the cooler temps perhaps some lines would be in...
