Yeah, I need to chest band, then. I want the thing to record how many minutes per workout I spend at or above a target heart rate. That includes swimming laps, so having to press buttons wouldn't be too convenient.

Her "pink men" was a reference to posers who get others to do their dirty work for them, not white guys to actually put it on the line themselves. It's only natural that a few posers here have taken exception to her observations, in addition to missing her point entirely.

No worries. They're not people. The wrist only HRMs are spot checks only, requiring a button press, no? Or are there models that continuously record (a feature I want) without the chest strap?

I take the same size 5.10 rock shoe as my regular boots/shoes for a comfy, all day fit. I mail ordered mine (the Spire) because I've been wearing that brand for years and I know they fit my feet. At first they seemed WAY TOO SMALL, but after waiting a day and trying them all I realized that they fit exactly like my previous pair (different model, same fit). I wouldn't mail order a rock shoe I hadn't tried on first, however. Different brands fit different foot shapes differently, mkay?
