    locked down spray

You can't kill spray...the minute a thread is locked down, someone starts a thread about the locked down thread.
  9. Fixed for ya! Its ironic. The more you promote Ron Paul and cheesy guitar butt rock the more I hate both of them. Perhaps Kev is confusing Ron Paul with Les Paul

  11. I spent a few summer guiding when I was a younger man...my employer facilitated pro-deals with a number of vendors and I was able to get plenty of good advice from my co-guides. Considering you will be in them all day, everyday, for a large portion of your summer, boots you will be happy in are an advisable investment. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the specific boots in your OP. Good luck.

  13. Whole grain bread, pasta, crackers etc. really aren't that much better than their white equivalents (as they are still very processed) despite what Food Inc would have you believe (the first ingredient in whole grain Fruit Loops is still sugar). If you really want the benefits of whole grains, eat more unprocessed whole grains: *oat groats (takes longer to cook, so i cook these up the night before and nuke 'em in the morning *steel cut oats - similar nutritional value as oat groats, but cook faster *Brown rice *Buckwheat ...you get the idea. I throw in some blueberries or raisins and Flax seed oil (omega 3 source) with my oats - breakfast of champions. Add brown sugar or organic maple syrup (grade b) if you must - its still way better than whole grain fruit loops

  15. Let's not forget the impact on loved ones: -time away/neglect of friends and family -any surplus income funneled into your addiction -impact on job/career I can't see a difference, can you see a difference?
  16. I am heading to Red Rocks this weekend for the first time in years. I have the old Swain guide (Rock Climbing Red Rocks from Falcon Press), but it must be 10 years old. So I am wondering what guide book I should buy that covers new route development in the last 10 years. A "select" type guide might be best as we are only down for 3 days and don't expect to be making frequent trips. Any suggestions? I'll probably re-visit some of my old favorites (Frogland, Black Orpheus, Olive Oil) but would love to get on some new stuff too.

  24. Wondering if there is a place in the Vancouver area (Canada) that will resling cams. Currently I am thinking of sending my metolius cams back to metolius based on previous recommendations here - sounds like they do a great job. But I also have Camalots, rigid Friends and hexes. Most of my gear is about 10-14 years old (the rigid friends prob much older).
