  1. Come on idiot, didn't you ever wonder how your coach Nate got his nickname "Mr Sonic"? How's your PCL team doing? I bet you can hardly wait for the excitement and professionalism of high school football
  2. Sonics won it all It was great, horns blaring and people happy. Seattle was still a small town. But the '78 series was even better for basketball, it was a battle like I've seldom seen in the Finals. The Sonics steamrolled the Bullets in '79. RIP Sonics, Sam, DJ, and several others Fuck yourself hollow, Howard Shultz
  3. Who knows, but he should be able to do them. He has been an outddor shoe gobbler since the sixties. If he can't train his people to properly resole, he does not deserve the buisness. I UPS all my shoes to Montana and John Ramuta
  4. I bet as far as a business investment, they suck. Looks expensive, high and specialized maintenance requirements, and minimal return on the dollar
  5. Helps save birds and lives Yea for Melonhead
  6. Wow, that's intense
  7. I was at several of those parties, including 1984. John Tarver and I (mostly me) got really drunk, and Bebie drove us to downtown Woodinville, and dumped us at 7-11
  8. There is no good and easy answer to this problem. Hopefully the $5 will result in a cleaner out-house. The meth heads and innocent homeless rural poor will merely move on to non-regulated federal lands
  9. That looks like a very fine job, and one which will make your house nicer for the growing children. It is also very nice of you to post and recommend your GC. Too often, all the trades hear about are the lights that don't work (is the switch on? Does the bulb work?), and a myriad of minor complaints. I hope you also understand that Myron did you a huge favor that allowed you to save a couple of thousand dollars when he allowed you to paint yourself. Many contractors want nothing to do with homeowners self-performing work, because of the potential for non-performance, and screwing up a schedule.
  10. Just roll the fuck after them
  11. And if they were 4'8", and weighed 76 pounds, you might stand a chance. Unless they decided to run away. Whatever Mark...bats rule...and its 5'-0" and 200lbs...get your facts straight... Are you saying that someone 5'0" and 200# could outrun you?
  12. And if they were 4'8", and weighed 76 pounds, you might stand a chance. Unless they decided to run away.
  13. Cascadeclimber yahoo locals: 1 Quickdraws: 0
  14. Gawd, I wish Raindawg was here
  15. I like keeping score. And if there were points for grammar and spelling.... Like I said, go rip off VW. Do you really expect us to believe that the owners son of VW has a huge deficit of quick draws?
  16. Good point! If I was you, I'd go steal a bunch of draws from the VW Score Colin: 1 Bret: -2
  17. And the cliff does not belong to you, and if your junk goes missing, it is because you tempted fate. Grow up and get over yourself
  18. Climbing areas named after a nearby town Index Leavenworth Vantage Squamish Lillooet Banff Chamonix
  19. Calling the major Washington rock climbing areas after the nearest town is not new. The first three guide books to Pugetopolis rock climbing: Guide to Leavenworth rock climbing (Beckey, 1965), Rock climbing: Leavenworth and Index, a guide (Carlstad and Brooks 1976), Darrington and Index rock climbing guide (Beckey, 1976). Dr Whats his name needs to vent his anger at these three, and get off his bully pulpit.
  20. I have heard it refered to as Vantage many more times than "Frenchmans Coulee". I first climbed there in 1981 with Doug Klewin, and we refered to it as Vantage. I spoke to Fred Stanley and Jack Powell seperately and soon after, and they both called it "the climbing near Vantage". I don't know what to tell you, but I suggest that you brush up on the requirements for your 509'er merit badge, and have the Clinic at Moses Lake remove that chip from your shoulder, it makes you seem like a snob Sincerely A proud 360'er
  21. That is the scenerio I would envision also
  22. I have never seen that posted before, andn I have not recognized the evidence as such. Where is this older bed? This should be a wake up call for climbers to get this land into public hands. But I will suggest, given the myriad of environmental laws, things seem stacked against reopening the granite mine.
  23. Get the Town Wall climbing areas named a Historical site?
  24. Clitellata
  25. Say that to my face
