Frikkin quit complaining. I can't walk or exercise for another two months, shit. You can complain all you want, just jokin. September is the best time to climb anyway. I will go hiking with you, I should be up to it in two months. And, I'll surely go skiing with you this season, I will be sub-par I expect.

I guess I want to hear some success or failure incidences so I can at least have some idea on what it is.

I guess I don't know anything about it. Did it work for you? I crushed my pelvis and sacrum in a car accident and obviously I have a lot of pain. I have some nerve damage that if my back is touched it freaks out, and I can't lay on it, I have a hard time sitting in a chair that isn't cushioned, well, lots of crap, oh yeah, my left calf aches and hurts and my left foot is on pins, they say from nerve damage stuff or scar tissue formed and tightens on nerves or something. I heard it is good for the flow of the spinal fluid, but I really don't know anything about that. But, what do they actually do? And how do you find someone that is good? And did it work for your malady? And also, how hard do they touch your back, because it is super sentsitive.

Has anyone here ever heard of it or experience it?

Any low back surgery success stories???
Kat_Roslyn replied to kweb's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
I am sorry you are in pain. Have you asked them what the recovery time is like with surgery? Sounds like you are exploring your options, good for you. Just thinking about surgery is scary, I have one tomorrow. I saw my surgeon the other day, he fixed my lower spine/ sacrum and pelvis and he couldn't stress enough about core strengthening excercises to relieve pain. I am feeling better everyday, the body is a neat machine. Good luck. -
Birthday cake barehanded, boy oh boy, that's extreme. I like knowing that you are carrying a giant safeway lunch tray underneath the cake. That guy on the right is just some poser, he probably even prefers eating cake with cutlery.

Has anyone ever seen GUMMO? I know suckbm has. That movie is so horrible. It is set in rural south. There are these kids that get money for the local chinese restraunt killing cats and bringing them the carcasses. With the money they buy some spray paint to huff and buy some sexy time with a mentally handicapped girl whose brother or dad is pimping her out. Simpy thinking about it has made me nauseous. If anyone wants to borrow it, I have a copy. Or there is the naked Azmat and Borat scene.

Climbing Access Arches NP threatened WRITE LETTER!
Kat_Roslyn replied to Alpinfox's topic in Access Issues
I haven't, but I've at least wanted to. -
Wow, Seems like an impressive feat to undertake, no doubt. I haven't spent much time there, so I have no useful info, but seems like a great area according to the accounts of the late Supreme Court Justice, William O. Douglas, whose had spent much time there. One of my favorite books is Of Men and Mountains. The Pacific Crest is defintely a good idea too, try "The Pacific Crest" by Shaeffer or Schaffer.

Help! Stuart/Dragontail Permit Questions...
Kat_Roslyn replied to motomagik's topic in Climber's Board
Just make sure your sleeping pad is inside your pack and take a couple extra day passes with you, and don't fill em out completly. Sleep somewhere where they obviously won't see you, like where AJScott said. I've only encountered 1 ranger before, nice kid, said we were hiking up towards Ingalls Creek. -
It IS the number one place for fun!

Maybe you could try Sasse Ridge, or No name ridge, Pollalie ridge had a good big burn last summer, I've been wanting to check that out for terrain. All by Lake Cle Elumish area.

I agree, your looking at an extra 8 miles of flat road before getting to the Longs Pass TH. How about doing Cannon Mt. couloir. you start at Mountaineers creek. wish i could go too.

This guy sent me his photos and was ranting on about how he climbed Mox peak! and "Don't you know who I am! I am a climbing god! Men want me and women want to be me! Don't you know who I AM!!"

good call. Ya.....what about just climbing at index for a week. Or just go to smith and chase the shade. Save money on gas if you climb close. Um yeah, Wa Pass is not remotely similar to Index or Smith.

Mike, You can live in your truck until you find a place, you may take a shower at our place. . .if you pay. Think about it, I think it would work out for all of us. We're just trying to help, no need to thank us, really. -Kat

Wa Pass. Free camping, river to swim in, cragging at goat rocks, often sunny. Swimmin at the lake. Lotsa options.

Just living the dream Weekendclimber Z, just all living the dream, all the time.

I am living the dream so hard that it doesn't even want to be the dream anymore. In the middle one, the dream is being lived so hard it's sore.
