My ultimate dream is being unsatisfied...help!!

How many times have you said to yourself: "My guy thinks he is always right, which is absurd because I am always right. Why can't a guy for once really be right all the time?!" Well, ladies, I really AM right all the time, and that's what every woman wants. Form a line, please. -

Raindawg, if this is what you are talking about, was it edited? It doesn't look as juicy as you made it sound. -

dude, I'm a righty-tighty. tell me one good thing about Cheney.
-
You don't know that... FDR, anyone? Heil Bush!
-
But that would leave another tool in office. well said. Cheney is the best life insurance Bush ever bought. What has Cheney done for the last 8 years anyway? Besides shoot his friend?

You'll have to PM me for gear rec's, it's my private beta (not beta on my privates, which incidentally I also give out in PM's). As for the FFA thang, homey that left the brown stains got there in his car, which is aid. He can have the FA, but the FFA is all mine.

Boo-yah! The 7+ inches of snow that fell Sunday on the Tri-Cities primed the conditions for an alpine-style unroped solo ski attempt of the Barracuda Coffee Co. An alpine-start was not possible as the route had not fully formed. So I started from my house at 3pm with nothing on my back, planning to eat snow for water. Bombing Range Rd. was steep and deep, but not enough to facilitate unassisted downward movement. The skiing near Van Giesen St. was tough and conditions varied from recently plowed hard-pack to deep freshiez to blue ice. However, the views of the near-frozen Yakima river were majestic from the commanding view on the bridge. Ducks and geese were everywhere, but no other wildlife could be found. Probably the down suits. The crux was an onsight crossing of HWY 240 while the light was still green. This was very committing, as falling would spell disaster. Objective danger was high here. Though blocks of ice the size of semi-trucks were not falling, semi-trucks themselves were a constant threat. After topping out, I was rewarded with a steaming cup of coffee, even though it was 10 minutes after closing time. Props to my uncle for letting me in. The descent involved the highway crossing, which I sent a second time. Darkness was closing in, so I hurried home. Timing was key, as I crossed the path of a recent swath of debris caused by a car sliding off the road just minutes earlier. Speed = safety in this game. I finally arrived at home, overjoyed to see that my car had neither been ticketed nor towed. Go out and get this while the conditions allow! This route will become chossy when the snow melts. PM me for more beta and a detailed topo, I have it dialed. Will post pics soon!

I'm about to replace my 2000 era Gateway "notebook" (and by 'book' I meant 'unabridged dictionary') for a variety of reasons. I've actually been real happy with the Gateway's longevity, I'm only replacing it because it's got a 5G hard drive and I'm tired of not being able to store anything. I'm so annoyed by the unnecessary price & baggage Vista comes with that I'm considering a Mac as well. Please keep the opinions coming, I'm all ears.

although, what do you make of the fact a former Goldman Sachs executive (Paulson) is the one pushing this the hardest and getting legislators to vote for it? that company is chock full of the most brilliant economic minds, so maybe this is not a bad move, I just don't understand it.

yeah, seems like it only makes things worse in the big picture. good thing it's bipartisan, so we know Rep's & Dem's are both unified in the quest to destroy our economy.

Pneumonia-Help a brother out...
ClimbingPanther replied to JensHolsten's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
The "insane cough" can produce a cracked rib or torn ligaments/cartilege/etc in the chest. This sort of structural damage can cause the pain you're feeling, and it may take a good deal of time to heal. If you can tell exactly what bone/joint/region the pain is coming from, it's probably structural. The pain can also be just from the inflammation associated with pneumonia. If it feels more internal, it's probably the pneumonia itself. -
why don't you ask his wife?
