I've gotten by in some horid shit in leather backpacking boots w/crampons.......not that it was by choice......but I think you have enough info here to point you in the right direction. If she really gets into walking on ice and then wants to climb it......she can make the purchase then. Most people stop climbing in these classes after they summit "the mountain" anyway. slog slog slog......camp muir.....slog slog slog.........poop in a bag.....slog slog slog
I think it's gonna shit on us west of the crest......watch out for the lure of the "longest sport route" on garfield. Your better off reading backpacker and eating doughnuts this weekend.
There must be someone responsible for this "attitude" of WA drivers....growing up in NY and moving out here made me (still does) want to pull the hair out of my head. I'm tired of this "privilage" and "right" these drivers think they have in this state. You can move over into the right lane, sip your mocha, and brag about the heated leather seats in your new subaru outback over your cell phone to that asshole over on the east side who doesn't give shit about you anyways......fhewww.....I feel better
This topic will never be settled. Maybe it should be broken up. Rock, ice, ect...........I wish I could climb like ants do.....there would be no need for aid.
At it's peak, how tall does ponderosa pine grow east of the cascade crest in the agnes, railroad, and the stehekin? How far has this pine introduced itself into the north cascades?
Ok....Ok ... this magazine is like reading PEOPLE in the grocery line. EXTREME sports are all hyped up right now. You knew who you where from the start.
A< vault >is a roof, a burial chamber, reaching for heights, or the act of jumping over something according to the webster. So are we jumping over the shit, putting it in the ground,, or launching it to new heights?
