  1. You should add a direct link. http://mountainproject.com/v/international/canada/british_columbia/105994963?highlightphrase=harrison+bluffs&
  2. Weekdays at Index are best...You can pretty much get on any route you want. Thats why I'm out there 2-3 times a week, weather dependant.
  3. Thanks for the thread, but is there any topos? Or anybody heading out there any time soon?
  4. Anybody have the information on Nason Ridge Rock Climbing? How to get there, topos, is it off limits. Anything would help. I'd like to try a new area.
  5. Was it you Tommy? Soemthing tells me you were bored and needed to spice up your Smith Trip.
  6. I once opened a shiney new box and found a large black spider in it. It was a black widow!
  7. Hey Stefan, Maybe they should cut police staffing so you wont get any more tickets. Then maybe politicians can let all the criminals out of jail to save a few more dollars. Then those criminals can come over and burglarize your house, steal your car, assault you, and victimize those you might actually care about. But don't call the police. Cause you don't want any of them out there. Maybe you should just slow down or not run red lights, then you wouldn't have any tickets. And we wouldn't have to read your stupid comments.
  8. Well Kevin and I decided to spend our President's Day at Index. Enroute we thought there would be a parking lot full of cars. When we did arrive only one car was in the lot. We tried to get on Thin Fingers, but it was a little wet. The direct start to Godzilla was soaking wet. And a party was aiding on the bolt start to it. So we moved on to the first pitch of Japanese Gardens. It was 68 degrees outside and Thin Fingers was mostly dry. Kevin led the first pitch without a hitch. We top roped it 3 times each and moved over to Princely Ambitions. I led the route. It was a little dirty, but dry and open. Overall it was quite the pleasant climbing day in mid-February.
  9. I always find it interesting when a Police Agency is controlled by a City Council and their radical ideas rather than the law they are supposed to enforce. Wow, I forgot I live in Seattle. Berkley - Seattle same thing. I remember Seattle Council Members making up a similar ordinance condeming the war and the troops. They backed out of that one too. Hopefully the Feds will take all Federal funding from the City, Highways, and Police Force. Then they can run around naked, smoking pot, and catch STD's (since free love doesn't really exist). Then we can just dismiss that city as another Fremont area where everyone is wacked out of their minds.
  10. Looks like she's ready to escape the cage. Check out those white knuckles.
  11. Im looking at dates around January 12-15th. Whatever works best. I can fit 4 in my SUV comfortably with gear. I live in Mill Creek so we can start there or somewhere close. I call you guys on Wednesday, to see what works for ya. Gabe
  12. Looking for anyone down with a mid January Smith Rock Trip. I have a vehicle and can drive. 3-4 days? let me know. Don't care what level you climb, (just able to climb and belay) Let's get out of the house and out of the rain. Gabe
  13. Its easy to stop these fools. If we had "Manatory Sentencing" in Washington they wouldn't be able to commit crime after crime and never spend a day in jail. Its the same people guys doing the crimes. Dont fool yourself thinking it was their first time. They travel from city to city and steal. Once they get caught the judge suspends their sentence and releases them. The judge claims "its only a property crime, no one was injuried." One guy I know had 7 years worth of suspended sentences that he never served, even tho the prosecutor read them out to the judge at sentencing. Its time to stop the insanity! Eat that you liberals! Remember theives dont care what race, color, creed, religion, political party, gender, or transgender you are. Its all about the opportunity and the Meth!
  14. Anyone know how to get rid of mold on tents? A friend borrowed my tent and put it back wet and didn't tell me. Any tricks or treatments to get rid of the black spots?
  15. Crime of the Century for the first pic? Squamish.
  16. I think they just wanted the overtime.
  17. Gear swapping sounds better.
  18. It would be easy to charge the person in possession of the stolen property. They wont get him for the theft, but they can charge him with PSP-possession of Stolen Property. The degree 1 or 2 would depend on the value of the Property in his possession. If the victim keeps up on the case and keeps hounding the Detective, they will charge. The time he gets after being found guilty in the Peoples Republic of Seattle will depend on how many points he has on his record. If the victim doesnt purse the case, there is a possiblity of the case never being followed through with. If he has any issues with the prosecutor, its up to us to call or write on behalf of the victim to pressure them into charging the piece of @#$%!
  19. Is the chain still missing? If it is, I have a few sitting around. Ill replace it the next time Im up there if its still missing. Im just curious if it was stolen or someone was making a point? Nobody wants another Cunning Stunt fiasco!
  20. Anyone know of any Goldbar Bouldering Topos out there? I've seen a couple sites with pics, but no topos.
  21. Here is a link of several of us climbing "Phone Calls from the Dead" out at Index. 5 min videos They're about 5 megs each. I think the second clip is better (cause it's me! 23. Looking for a partner at Index on Sat maybe 12-5 pm. Just looking to climb, please know how to belay! Dont mind 3-somes or 4-some parties. Just wanna climb and all partners are out of town. I am willing to go to Exit 32 if its too hot. Gabe Send me a PM and Ill get a hold of U.
  24. Just picked up my re-soles today...didn't even bother to check them out...that's how good he is! One time i needed a resole done in 3 days. Had an unexpected trip to Smith Rocks. Drove the shoes to his store, picked them up 2 days later, and wore them on the 4th day to climb. Cant get much better service than that. They do rush jobs for repeat customers if need be. A few years before that I drove my buddy to Dave Pages shop in Ballard. He left them there a week before. Shoes weren't ready on time and the craftsman ship was pretty bad. Maybe it was just that pair of shoes, but I've never gone back again. Stone gardens has a drop off and pick up service for Ramuta!
  25. Before u buy anything there make sure you check it out real good. I noticed most the stuff priced real low, was that way for a reason. They told me they only sell new "load bearing" equipment. So dont count on finding any used cams or biners there. However they did sell me a set of ascenders that were "used." He told me they were only selling them cause the girl who bought them never used them on her trip to Rainier. I checkd them over and didnt see any wear marks on them. Pretty good deal too...$40.00 for the pair of Petzel Ascenders. He even threw in a new biner that held them together. Nice staff and decent prices. Lots of used guide books and a little library section u can sit down and read in. Over all 2 thumbs up...
