I have descended this route three times. Twice we put our crampons on and walked down the small snow field. The other time we rapped around it. When rapping we left webbing.

Climbed at Smith probably 60-80 times over the last 18 years. Been rained out once.

What is so poor about it? I thought it was 10.c 12 years ago. I know much better climbers than most on here who also think the guide book grade is wrong and think it is 10.c. but whatever.....at the end of the day this conversation is just one persons opinion

haha thats funny. I really enjoy Dod's first pitch. One of my favorite climbs at Beacon. And its a complete splitter. And then you can claim you did all of Dod's. Dasderdly is an amazing climb as well. Arent and I both think that is more like 10.a.
