  1. Similar price point on the new screws?
  2. Yeah, good point Kurt. I saw them all on sale, I should have mentioned that. Surprisingly the Quarks weren't marked on the rack, I only saw them online. I grabbed a hammer and there were a hammer and an adze left. Plus the tools you mentioned. Perhaps they're getting out of the hardware business, but it seems they do sell-through what limited stuff they carry...at least here in Portland. I'm waiting for the screws to be marked down.
  3. Thanks Rocky for the post...and the good news. Welcome. And thanks to everyone who wrote and took time from their schedule to attend the hearings in Salem.
  4. Here's what a friend of mine did a couple of years ago and he's planning on doing it again this year: He rides his bike from NE Portland to Timberline; gets a couple of hours of sleep; climbs the next morning; rides his bike back to NE Portland; grabs a bite to eat; then gets his kayak, puts it on his back and walks to the Willamette River where he puts in and paddles to Astoria. His family and friends (that didn't make the journey with him) meet him there and they spend the rest of the day surfing somewhere along the Oregon coast. He's crazy.
  5. Evidently, the kind that steals lightbulbs too.

    Farting is fun

Wouldn't that be with? Toot is what you do lines with off of a hookers ass. no. of. lines of toot, off of the hookers ass. maybe. Hooker's. Possessive noun.
  7. Not a bad price for a good tool.
  8. That's tight. ~9 hours x 2 = 18 hours travel time to and from Seattle. Which leaves ~6 hours car-to-car from Bunny Flat. I'm close to calling bullshit. If it's true, then well done. Hope you didn't get any tickets.
  9. My wife has it and she took some medication that helped quite a bit. If I recall, it was nifedipine? Don't have any still around, so that's a guess. But I think a trip to your doctor might yield some positive results. She was really surprised how much it helped.
  10. Claro!
  11. Update?
  12. I have the same questions. After reading the blog and respecting the rules, I have stayed away from the park for the limited access restrictions. I think a better rule would be (I realize I'm not in charge): if you have a permit (& paid all fees), and have passed the Ranger's review of your qualifications and equipment, you should be able to walk in from any Park entrance and travel your intended route any time. Just as if you were leaving Paradise. As Sky mentioned, I don't get the crazy "10am Sunday" time restrictions when one clearly isn't interfering in any construction activity. Perhaps I am over-simplifying this? I'm sure I'm missing something. I really appreciate your blog Mike. Keep up the great work there. But hopefully you can add some clarity to this. Thanks
  13. That's great news. And via one of the longest routes! Well done fellas.
  14. I learn more about this crowd everyday.
  15. Saw this last night. Excellent movie. Great footage and a good story. Stayed for the Everest movie too. Fine way to spend 2 hours.
  16. I didn't do it today, but 2 weeks ago I sent over my third pair of Desert Boots to another soldier. They have their government issue boots, but evidently, they love these. They're more comfortable, especially in the heat and they tend to last a lot longer. Anyway, it's not much, but I hope it makes thier hard work a little easier.
  17. Access Fund
  18. From Miss Velvet's site: Good job John and Marcus. You'll get the Spider soon.
  19. They've never been ok, IMHO. Not meaning to turn this into yet another "dog vs. no-dog" thread, but why would you drag your mut up there unless you plan on (a) keeping him on a leash AT ALL TIMES, (b) blue bag his crap, and © keep him from barking at all wild animals or other people up there. Seems few ppl w/dogs are considerate of others when I've seen them on the trails. Yeah, imagine how how stressed all those snow worms and red algae get on St. Helens when Fido's not on a leash AT ALL TIMES. And the ravens. How must the ravens feel? Jesus christ, does everyone have to love dogs?? Bring them, don't bring them. I don't care. Why is it so much to expect their owners to keep them under control and clean up after them?
  20. I understand classrooms can be kind of chaotic places, but that must have taken some real planning from the two kid's posse to hide these two knocking it out. And they're 11. Unbelievable.
  21. That's b/c you don't give head well enough.
  22. While we're at it, seems a couple of 11 year old kids have taken advantage of some free time in shop class at this Indiana school.
  23. You're not alone. I bit too.

    Gotta Love Americans

The bigger question is who got her pregnant? And how?
  25. This product has potential. I'd need several packets to get a buzz-on, but it has potential.
