Hood spectacle should spray from alpine environments only, in a blizzard, buried under a pile of provisions sufficient to keep the Seahawks pro football team alive and comfy for two weeks, and transmitted from an electronically altered personal locating device only. 3. Sprayers posting on cc.com or spraying at Pub Club meetings are lucky to be spraying at all, let alone tying up the office networks trying to spray at work. Sprayers who have posted recently should sit on their hands and let someone else have a chance to spray for a change. 4. All opinions expressed on cc.com are well-reasoned and insightful. Interesting that you raise that example... I was thinking about Tibet's situation and the philosophy of pacifism that obviously permeated the POV of at least one participant in this discussion. A lot of good pacifism has done them, eh? And a lack of an army? I just watched Kundun a few days before this thread started, and that definitely made an impression on my mind set when this thread started. My impression of the history of the Tibet/China conflict is that Tibet did raise an "army", but were vastly out-manned and out-gunned; in the end, pacifism, as a nation, was not practiced.

It's quite obvious that, for some, war can never be justified. It is just as obvious that, for some, life on this Earth is not complete without it. The discrimination of the individual determines their place in that mix. Some, more than others, spend time trying to persuade that their position is "best" or "Right", that the other's is "worse" or "Wrong". We all make "deals with the Devil", large and small, to get by in this life. In the end, often, it's only to serve our individual conscience that our personal "deals" are privately and interminably justified to soothe our troubled soul. My attempt to persuade serves more to convince myself.
