It's perfectly consistent to oppose the intentional murder of an innocent life, and simultaneous condone the taking of a life of an evil-doer. yet what kind of life are you willing to damn that unwanted child to? me personaly... I would rather die quick and painless than live a tourmented life of an unloved unwanted ill kept child. having heard thos words out of my fathers mouth "I never wanted children any way" i can assure you that contibuted heavily to my drug addiction and anti social behavior as a child and a teen. I was lucky enough to grow up and get away. my dad was mean but he wasn't as awful as he could have been so i was able to move past it. for those born into evil, there is no way out. not only do i think abortion should be legal, i think it should be manditory for some. The power of the consumer should be the measure a business uses to determine their policy on smoking. If nobody wants to be around it, they will ban it to stay in business. And if the impact of every activity on insurance premiums were a good measure of what the government should tell us we can & can't do, then a lot of dangerous activities like climbing ought to be regulated & legislated to minimize its impact, and recoup by taxation the cost to our society. Maybe we should just have a study to determine the most benign form of exercise and legislate that everyone must participate at the perfect level to reduce our premiums and make sure everyone's making the right choices in their life. The smoking issue is certainly worth at least some argument and thought to figure out what's the approach most consistent with freedom, and a blanket referendum to ban it indoors was not the best choice. Bullshit……IMO….I have the right to breath clean air in a public place more than you have the right to pollute it. So quit with your vile, pestilent farting already!

I doubt a typical child as old as 30 months could "live on its own outside the womb"; older in many climates. This statement gives approval of the killing of toddlers. Since the Supreme Court decision does not allow for this scenario, I'm at peace in acceptance. Btw, If I remember correctly, the majority of the Supreme Court discussion on this issue in Roe v. Wade was in the opinion and determination of when "potential life" existed.
