Every new intermediate student this year sat through a longer lecture that addressed specific issues from the accident (slinging boulders, loads on anchors, etc.) Don't you think the students would be better off going to practice rock and drinking tall-dogs of Bud and working on their friction and edging technique than sitting at lecture? BOR-ING.
