Suck it up and go look I highly doubt its gone..follow Dons map watch for flagging and have a look along the river..too dark then wait till later in the year when you have more daylight or hit something along the Duffey on on day 1 then save some time and suss it out in the afternoon then ace the approach on day 2 The log is massive and very easy to spot..as don said though it is a bit hair raising when its icy in the morning park at the bridge so you dont get towed

your not allowed to park across from the log anyways so you can just walk in from the bridge parking spot on the right side of the river

Vertical or horizontal front points for water ice?
jmace replied to northvanclimber's topic in The Gear Critic
its like you guys have it backwards..I love my vertical points for water ice, they are like my axes, and horizontals for steep snow and mushy ice, more surface area relatively that being said I doubt I would climb better or worse with either set up..dont think it matters too too much -
Dunno..doubtful..after what her and her friend did to me

Lucky is an understatement...best time of my life may better describe it..

Climb hard then hit the bar 5 mins from the rap route or skitter over to some beautiful italian town or fly wherever you want for 50 bones!! I am planning another motorbike trip this summer to ride from barcelona down to marakech then tour abit round there and back..im just trying to add some time in the Brenta region of the dolomites thats the place man Italy/Spain

Dude the idea sucks as soon as you try and tell me that technology is smarter than a trusted human being besides I can set up text messages on delay already as far as the media goes its a business, more than likely the resources involved and the timing of the crystal episode just didnt mix with easier dramatic news already available..

Suck it up man your money is worth the same as mine..if you think thats condescending then too bad for you Frankly, your misfortune, if you can call it that, is my blessing and I am loving every minute of it: cheap electronics, cars, books..mom just got cash back on her new car since they slashed the price..its AWESOME!!! I really dont see how you think thats a bad attitude. Come on down...

I believe there are 2 uninspiring TR's on this site on the rock quality on those routes
-
well you've got the 2 hour closer but for 10 bucks more whistler has 38 lifts compared to 11 and over 8000 acres to crystals 2000..I dunno I think Valu-Wise Whistler has you beat anyways serenity asked asked why I was gloating..

Ya considering the loonie is just below parity to the Dollar and the Euro just rose against the Dollar I'd have to say you are mistaken and with the 1 Euro getting 1.50 Canadian I really dont think we have to worry about the few americans who own passports stopping their canadian adventures
-
Cause ive made 2 extra vacation plans..and you know how many more Euro's are coming here now..ever been to Whistler? dont think the tourism industry has too much to worry about
