  1. Sorry to hear about your accident, Kurt. Here's to a full and speedy recovery!
  2. One would more likely need a way to get past the road which is still gated at Alder Creek.
  3. A WARNING! Two of my friends cars got broken into at 38 tonight (tuessday). Fuck!!
  4. Yes. And that's against the law!! (If you get caught)
  5. Thanks for the info. How were the snow conditions overall and where is the snowline at right now? Any additional info or pics would be great if you got 'em.
  6. Yeah, we were going to ski it too...um, not really! We did the walk-up Dragontail via Aasgard sunday(party of 3). I think Scott(?) came by our campsite in the morning looking for Dave. The bridge over mountaineer creek was sketchy for sure sunday afternoon!! We were able dig down and get water out of the lake
  7. How about some bumper belays off the potash rd?
  8. Skied inbounds to avoid avalanches. It worked.
  9. Trent, You have to go in via Darrington from the north.
  10. I might show up a little chalky myself MMMMM Nickerson burgers
  11. Climb with people who are better than you. You will improve faster.

  13. Hmm, I would agree with what others have said, although I don't think you are retarded. Boarding in the backcountry just takes a little practice. I had a similiar experience my first time in the b/c with my split, and mine is probably too long which makes it harder to turn. Keep going out, it'll get easier with practice in different snow conditions.
  14. Tried to get into Terror Basin over the weekend. We ran into 5-6 inches of snow as low as 800feet along Goodell Creek, but patchy. Higher elevations with more exposure to the sun had less coverage. We didn't need flotation devices until about 3k. Hope this helps.

  16. I didn't get one either, WTF???
  17. pfffft! I can rappel 5.11, easy!!
  18. I've used them and they do work. They would be ideal for a base camp situation, but I wouldn't want to carry 'em around. For drying out boots at home, I use/prefer the Peet.
  19. Haven't been up to Baker yet, but Alpental was super grabby today. Feet of cascade concrete. We need some colder temps, yo.
