  1. You might consider the Grivel tech wings too. They have a standard shaft (non-ergo/leashless), they could take an upper trigger and have a fang, but the shaft has a more aggressive shape than most non-ergo/leashless tools.
  2. My street shoe size is somewhere between a 9 and 10 depending on the manufacturer, so an 11 would likely be a bit big.
  3. Scarpa T1's or T2's or Garmont equivalents. Looking for something to learn on that isn't totally beat to shit, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. TIA
  4. Anybody tried the Crispi tele-boots? How do they hold up? and is the sizing any different than Garmont or Scarpa? TIA
  5. Paddy Coynes at 6:00. Stumbling distance to Feathered Friends followed by more beer.

    The cc.com of....

That's one way to put. I prefer "a cultish and scary" concept. Fundamentalists of ever sort of scary people. Kind of like bears they're usually not very bright and awfully fun to poke with a long stick.

I don't know if this is standard, but UW recently adopted a TA's union under the United Auto Workers of all things. I was opposed to it, but that's neither here nor there. Once it was passed everyone had the option to join the union and pay 2% of their salary for union dues, or not join the union and pay 1% anyway. That pretty well irked me.
  10. I feel the need to live vicariously as my Halloween pretty well sucked!
  11. Damnit, we need TR's!!
  12. I know one thing Mrs. Selkirk tries to do is only eat those things which will absolutely completely satisfy her craving if she's having one. No cheap chocolate, less than stellar ice cream, nothing that relies on quantity to satisfy. I don't know that the cost is any different, but the quantity comes. Keep your chin up and make those treat's really worthwile!
  13. Bugger all! Anything left? I'm looking for a set of 27.5 tele boots?

Love and having a successful marriage are decisions you make every day.

    Monogamy?

I know this is tongue in cheek, but it always bothers me that men who are obviously in love with a woman and states it clearly in many different ways is usually called "pussy-whipped" or "hen-pecked" in one way or another before long. It is a sad comment on our society--the same society that continually enforces monogamy. I think it puts men in an unfair, sexist, and harmful double-bind. Any man (or woman) that's worth much knows that comments like these are usually made my monkey's who aren't worth the air they breathe and/or the time it takes to listen to them.

You can also be single and spineless. The two have nothing to do with each other.
  23. If you're looking for price point cam's go check out DMM 4Cu's. Love mine, quite durable no overly expensive, and reasonably light. For smaller size Zero's get a in the small sizes (blue, yellow, gray) (I like the flexible stem, and extendable sling) and Metolius TCU's in the larger finger size (Blue through Red), gawd I love their action! nice and snappy.

    Monogamy?

we pretty much all do some of just suck worse than others! I've only been married for 5 years, but it seems to be a continual work in progress, ever day it's a decision to keep working.
  25. No time to start like the present! And just because your weening the sugar out of the house doesn't mean the Things can't have sweets on occasion. It just gives you a good reason to take them out for the occasional ice cream cone.
