    THE RULES!

I am just not seeing the difference between men and women here... women also have chatty mood, that doesn't necessarily seem to be induced by the other three.
  4. at quite a large personal risk (life, long term and shot term physical well being, emotional, financial, etc.) When guys stand to lose as much as women do, due to their wives/gf getting pregant than they might deserve say.

    Screw Excel, get Matlab
  20. Off to Spokanistan myself. Should be a good crowd for turkey followed by lots of sleeping
  21. aah, were all scared for life. People who aren't don't tend to be very interesting.
  22. typical American engineer scared by modern technology and competent engineers. :lmao: :lmao: I've seen them try and make curves from 1 data point, call a curve fit good when it splits the difference between two data points that vary by a factor of 2, and am working on a pitch control system that has a +/- 20% potential variability in feel (and greater than that in aircraft response) from aircraft to aircraft.
  23. You have no idea how true this is. You've probably all heard of Quantas vaunted safety record that they've never "lost" a plane? It doesn't mean they've never crashed or severly damaged one, just that they fix them and fly them
  24. I've been working with a french jet manufacturer lately. . . . there planes and they're engineering frighten me!

    Turtles

You might think about a tortoise. Just think dry turtle so none of the aquarium filtration issues. I have a buddy who has one named Tortellini, I think he just feeds it half a head of lettuce every few days and let it wander around the house/backyard (he lives in San Francisco so it's a bit warmer in the winter.)
