    nwhikers.net

I post on both and TAY. Each has it place with plus and minus. They do not allow politics there so I post that here although most of comment is pretty lame. They allow spray in TR's which IMO is a bad idea. I used to climb a lot harder but mostly only AT ski now so I like TAY which allows no spray ad only limited pix. This site is great for beta and the TR's and pictures are the best. It is best to not spray about other cites.
  5. The best comment I heard was that "Obama took his winnings and handed them over to Max Bacus"

  8. I just had come asshole break my side window to take a GPS and a Maglite. The window was covered under comprehensive but the GPS and light had to be under homeowners and they were less than the deductible.
  9. I did work for a Sportswear Company and we always secured rights for any music used in commercials etc. As far as I know that is standard operating procedure we also produced content and monitored to see if others used our property.
  10. We were headed up International atAlpy once when there was a power outage at the pass and all the areas were closed and they started tossing bombs off the cliff

  12. 50 years ago you could take the train and get off at Monroe, Sultan, Startup, Gold Bar, Index, Baring, Snohomish, Tye, Stevens Pass, or 11worth.

Don't want to bust your bubble but for a Constitutional Amendment BOTH houses of Congress have to approve by 2/3 (that is 67 Senators) THEN 2/3rds of the State legislatures have to Approve. Of course all these parties have been sucking at the corporate tit all their lifetime. You would have better luck impeaching at least one of the 5 and having a new apiontee vote to overrule the decision.

Today is the day representative democracy ended in the United States of America, thanks Bush
  16. I always found that juries do not appreciate elegant words, just sayin.
  17. Well Brown has to run again in 2012 in the most liberal state in the country, we shall see.
  18. I am an attorney and do not really think you need one. You need to find where the ratbags that did this dumped the loot. Then go to the local cops and prosecutor (it helps if you cn hand them conclusive evidence that it is your stuff, should be easy with help from this site). If the prosecutor is reluctant then get a LOCAl attorney with some pull to makee him an offer he can't refuse.

    haiti

"Collapse" documented the difference between Haiti and DR and blamed much of it on deforestation of Haiti for charcoal. In the DR the various dictators preserved much of the forests for their private playgrounds

    Palin on FOX

She is scary in the same way a drunk school bus driver is scary.
  22. If he gets off with manslaughter you cannot later charge with murder after a successful appeal, it would be double jeopardy as he would be found not guilty of murder.
  23. The judge in the Tiller case is allowing the murderer to contend that he did it to protect babies, if the jury buys it it is manslaughter. MSNBC story
  24. If you have more than 3 posts here you are already in hell.
  25. I was heading up the Skyline trail in the Olympics above Irely Lake a few years ago in October when a storm blew through. There were many large trees i.e. over 6' diameter falling all around us we buggered out but it was close to the scariest time ever in the mountains. In recent years there have been fatalities on Rattlesnake Ledges and Fay Bainbridge Parks that I am aware of. There is a reason they are called widowmakers.
