International media scrutiny doesn't seem to be helping too much. U.N. Suspends Myanmar Aid After Supplies Seized by Junta Again, why do non-existant WMD's justify regime change, but this doesn't? Hey W - grow some fucking balls. I agree with the emotion behind this statement. And I am assuming you are not suggesting right now is a good time to invade Burma.

So I was listening to the story on the news about planes finally getting to land with help for people. The news person closed the story with a line about "these forgotten people". These people are suffering a lot, but they are not anything close to being forgotten. Even their own gov't is not allowed to forget what is going on--the rest of the world won't let them. This is one of the good things about the media.

This appears (multiple post tipoff clue w/swearwords and backup documentation) to not be accurate. If I wanted any shit from you, I'd squeeze your head I love you. I just flat out love you.

I'm not even a stoner and I thought this one was funny!

Doesn't that make your experience so much better?

Because Asia is much bigger than Iraq..... Iraq is a country on the continent of Asia, as is Myanmar, numbnuts. I would laugh if it weren't so sad. Reminds me of that video of the girl talking about people in emarika needing more maps cuz education isn't good and we really need to educate people in south africa, um, south america, um southern something blah blah blah i'm blonde

I agree that it is a horrible shame that this country has opted to respond in this way; it does not lessen the shitty response that our own gov't had/has to our needs. People are not whiners when they discuss our gov't shortfalls; they have a right to speak up and to demand better from our gov't.

Knee Pain Questions for the Doc
archenemy replied to Weekend_Climberz's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
Remember that exersize, especially something like running, actually lubricates the joints and keeps the synovial (sorry about my poor spelling) fluid moving through the joints. That may be why your higher impact sports are lessening your knee discomfort. -
I missed you.

But you look so good in stilettos.

I don't think that is funny, I think it makes sense. The potential lethality of a gun should never be downplayed. And pretending to "shoot" other people is not a game I would encourage kids to play. But learning how to shoot trap and skeet, that makes sense.

No, they should be taught with the real thing.

What?

Exactly what I was thinking.

If this were true, then the federal gov't would not recognize your drivers license as a valid form of ID on your I9 or to get your passport.

Tennessee lawmakers are considering a proposal by state Rep. John Deberry to make it a misdemeanor to intentionally display or expose "an imitation firearm in a public place in a threatening manner." Exceptions include justifiable self-defense, lawful hunting, and displays such as a museum collection. I saw that someone quoted the first part of this; but cut off the second part. I'm just curious about these exceptions--how does someone lawfully hunt with a plastic play toy gun?

When I figure out how to get beer to come out of these things I'll be super popular.

Thanks a bunch. Now I can be as jealous of your skiing ability as I am of your climbing skillz.

I didn't have anyway to bring it home. Today I found a rack for my pickup truck that I am going to call on. I'm going to go the rental route first though. That way I can try different things out and find out what I like. Also, I wouldn't mind getting a used one first so I don't have all that added stress around destroying a beautiful new piece of gear.

That's sweet of ya! Turns out, there was no mad rush at REI. Guess the economy really is affecting people's buying habits. I wasn't too overwhelmed/overexcited about the sale once I saw it though. There really wasn't all that much on sale that I was looking for. I didn't realize how seasonal that place is--they didn't have any ski stuff available. Bummer. But, I did get a wetsuit that fits! Again, wasn't on sale, but I used that 20% off for members deal. Did anyone else go? See anything that just shouldn't be missed? I'm not a good in-person shopper, so I could have missed something obvious that every person simply must have.

Dude, you are so wrong here. Different strokes for different folks. The fact that guys have their own idea of what is attractive is cool--whether that is curvy women, skinny girls, clean cut boys, or a variation. Whatever--it's all good. And I don't know about anyone else, but I know that I find my tastes changing as I get older. It's a great experience to go through and keeps life interesting.
