Isn't Costco supposed to be a wholesaler?

I stayed home. And I didn't use any toilet paper. Go green.

I'll take one dog and bring one bottle of Nair for the guy in the topo pic.

But felony does not necessarily mean it is a federal law, does it? I thought felony just referred to the class of laws that were considered more serious than the misdemeanor class. Jeez, this seems basic and I am embarrassed that I don't know this.

And come to think of it, you don't need to be arrested to be printed. If you were to turn yourself in, you would be processed. You can go to jail w/o ever being arrested. Just a detail.

I wish they'd spend it helping kids learn punctuation.

I believe that a crime is classified under the federal law system when it is either Constitutional or when the State has no right/power to prosecute it. A lawyer can correct/refine this for me if I've misspoken here. I am just at the beginning of my "History of Law" book, so I haven't gotten to the reasons behind what is and is not federal--but I am very interested in this very same question.

You are so right. If I could just get someone else to pay for law school...
-
Can you recap it using smaller words?

Doesn't matter. I never said I'd vote for the woman running, just that there had to be one in the race.
-
Looks like you'll be poking yourself in the eye when you do that.
-
I shouldn't because it just encourages them. But, I always said that I would vote when a woman ran for office. So I am now a registered voter and I voted in some preliminary bullshit that didn't even count. Our system sucks.

But I'd still take the 18 cent discount if it were an option w/o complaint.

My car gets less than 30 mpg and I use the highest grade gas in it. I go through a tank a week w/o much effort. And, I can easily go through a tank in a half day on the track. My truck also gets less than 30 mpg and I drive it pretty long distances every weekend. And I don't justify/defend/complain about my usage to people. It is what I've chosen and I like it.

This is the same night as the NWMJ meeting, isn't it?

"Vote for me and I'll give you sum free shit*" rocks. I wouldn't vote for Grampa McCain if he were the last politician on earth.

These are awesome!

Funny, I paid taxes which educated "other people's" kids before I had kids in school, and will be paying for "other people's" kids in just a few years. Ditto for medical care of others. And I'm sure I've kicked in more than my fair share over the years, since I've always paid income and payroll deduction taxes. And I'm coughing up at least $1000 a month for insurance, but hey, keep pretending that YOU pay for MY kids. I assure you that I pay significantly more taxes than you do. But that is beside the point. Why would it seem like I am "pretending" that I pay for your kids, but you feel justified in saying that they will support me when I am old? Can you see the problem there? wont it be the children of today who pay your social security, medicare and medicade? we are certinly paying for our parents generation now. the problem being, their generation out numbers ours drasticly. because they had fewer children it will be a significant strain on the economy when all the boomers hit retirement. Muffy, have you looked at what SSI pays? My answer to your question (the same I answered to K3) is no, I do not expect to rely on SSI. I save more than 20% of my income every year in preparation for retirement and have done so for a long time. I have no plans to ensure my care to the hands of strangers with a system that may not be there when I am old. I was raised to believe that I must take care of myself. I have done so since I was 16 and I plan on doing everything in my power to be able to continue to do so until I am 116.

But yet you highlighted this. Your modesty is modest. I have no modesty around the professional/financial success I have worked hard for my entire adult life. I've fought hard on many fronts and I am proud of what I've attained. So take your expectations of "modesty" and shove them up your ass.

You are right, I do need to get back to work. After I pay for your kids' schooling, I gotta get me some counseling. And a good spell-check thingy. I do think teachers are underpaid, treated like shit, and don't get the respect they deserve. It is despicable the way parents treat them and embarrassing the way they are viewed. Okay, I am going to go be productive. Thanks for the good chat!

I am curious how teachers fighting for more pay makes the school system worse or un-good? I work for an increase every year, and I do not see a connection between that and the organization I work for needing to be "fixed".
