  1. Hahaha. I still have scars on my hands from my tapeless ascent of Libra Crack.
  2. I can put a rope on Aborigine, is that 11-enough? Speaking of 32 I was there the other day and this guy and his girlfriend(?) come up, and then it's "so which one of these climbs is Chronic?" ...
  3. me too, 32. I got the good routes wired there...
  4. Yeah what a tard, look at those cotton socks. And what kind of dumbshit skis in the rain for fun?
  5. No this is not some futuristic sci-fi fanstasy... the technology is already well establshed. For example, intramuscular ice tool implants, (Wolverine, et al., 1972) bioorganic rope systems, (Spiderman, 1958) hyrdoefficient dynamics (Frank Herbert, Dune) to list a few. Of course all of this advanced technology is conspiratorily suppressed by the gear manufacturers, who continue to capitalize on the stupid willingness of the climbing demographic to purchase 17th century textiles.
  6. yes, all climbing will be accomplished through virtual reality; real mountains, rendered obselete, will be dealt with either by the environmentalists who will succeed in barring all access to the mountains, or the industrialists who will reduce all mountains to their constituent ores and sell them for a handsome profit (due in no small part to subsidization by the federal government).
  7. Hiked up to the Sulfide Glacier in the rain on Sat. to try AT skis for the first time, then X32 sporto action (with a little trad spice) Sunday.
  8. Damn right. Bush in 20Forever!
  9. I wasn't aware that a specific allergy qualified as a "disability?"
  10. Sad, but true. Oh, the hypocrisy... Which just goes to prove what we've been suspecting all along: the popular vote is primarily a high-school popularity contest.

    Here it is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/seattlekayaker/
  13. so then wear a life jacket! But then that's the least of your worries...
  14. Oh ok, so that's more like wakeboarding then. Dang, that's a great idea. Man, if this gets out then all of them hillbillies who watch wakeboarding (but can't afford it) are gonna be mobbing the rivers... Haha that "dipping" move is a classic in whitewater kayaking, they call it a "mystery move." It was really popular back when squirt boats were the rage.
  15. Oh coooool now we can go play "alien vs. predator" against each other on our favorite ice climbs! Hey, no fair, you cut my rope!
  16. This guy is pretty into it (among other things): http://www.2imagine.net/news.html
  17. The man actually has the ability to reason? That is just disgusting. No this has to be the work of liberal infiltraitors!
  18. yeah, but have you ever seen THIS before?
  19. How much for your Black Prophets? (can't be toooooo much, I already have one BP and one Shrike...)
  20. mmmm. Man, I gotta start watching the olympics.
  21. Hmm multipitch sport. Where is there multipitch sport (besides Infinite Bliss)? If it was me I'd start leading sport instead, starting easy or on a gym lead wall. Then once you can lead (or if you already can), practice some multipitch-like skills by leading a route, converting to rap at the anchors, and cleaning your own route on rap. That will give you some experience with hanging off of the anchors and switching from one mode to another up off the deck. Or, just find a trad climber and follow them up a route on the Great Northern Slab at Index...
