Castle and I ran laps yesterday... he can't make it today but I can. Call me if you want to hook up (and a price for those bolts!). Anybody else in this town climb more than once a month? -

Anyone tonight or tomorrow night? CALL ME 541-231-2062 if you want to go (as I will be offline). -
For about the same drive time you can get to some of the single track shit in Corvallis... I haven't been up there in a year or two but when I was living in Corvallis obstacles abounded... Just an alternate...

Just so you know east side of Jefferson is considered part of the Indian Res and is off limits to climbing. Your call to make... Jefferson in late July?

Sorry for thread drift but I was wondering... Was Katie a member of the OSU climbing club? Or was this a OSU climbing club outing? RIP Katie.

Matterhorn. TG has all the info (if you can get him to answer a pm).

Peter and Ben: The thread said the last place they were seen was near LJT. As Marcus and I had climbed up the from the North side of LJT and climbed the entire West Ridge from LJT I felt it important to mention where we had climbed to assist in further determining where the two missing climbers weren’t seen (from LJT to the summit or trying to descend the NW buttress) and where they could be (below LJT on the west ridge or somewhere on the descent) to help shrink the search area. Thanks for misinterpreting my comments and trying to pin the chestbeater label on me. Again. Good to hear everyone is okay.

That was Marcus and I. Did the spur just right (climbers) of Razorback... not positive but we think it is unclimbed (Marcus is looking into it). Marcus should post a TR later today. Razorback did look nice gonna have to go back and climb that one too

Marcus Donaldson and I climbed Stuart on July 18th via a new route on the NW face that finished just right of Long John's Tower and then followed the west ridge to the summit. We didn't bump into anyone on route though we did pass two dudes at Goat pass in bivy bags and saw 2 people on the N ridge. Check your pms Iain for my contact info.

Might have some extra spots for people on Ptarmigan Traverse. Will follow itinerary similar to this trip. If you are an interested individual in good cardio shape, easy to get along with, and have some mtn experience (not that you need much... the traverse is chill) shoot me a pm. Thanks for not spraying on my thread

Good work guys! When are we going to Stuart?

What time? -
Social was in the wallet and my rainier climbing permit Believe it or not some states actually use your social as your driver's license number.

Talk to Pete... he might be looking and his house is in an awesome location IMO. I'd rent you a room d00d but Lani said if I did she was moving out.

Wallet and purse were not visible... hidden quite well actually. Back window was smashed... I think we would have heard it anywhere else but the freeway traffic likely prevented us. Update: punk bitches used my info to secure a new drivers license, with that a checking account and with that applied for a car loan Thank god for fraud protection! I highly urge anyone who gets their shit jacked to register for fraud protection immediately! Even if you cancel all your credit cards (both of us did) this free service notifies you if anyone tried to open a new line of credit using your information With out it I wouldn't have had any way of knowing someone was using my info. Open season on thieves... better hope I don't catch you!

You always have the right to ask to see the radar... don't do this until he has the ticket in hand... if he did use any fancy suntract/add/laws of physics tricks he would have to explain it then. At that point based on his explanation you can decide to fight it or not. As far as flashing the volunteer card... you don't have to if it is right behind you license... he will see it as you pull out (slowly is the key) you license to hand him. And laser radar guns are so accurate (that is why they have a scope on them) all they need to do is hit one part of your car and tag your it. With that said... 15 moving violations in 10 years later had taught me caution speeding is the key. 65 mph = up to 8 over 55 mph = up to 6/7 over 45 mph = up to 4/5 over 25 mph = speed limit! (esp. small towns!) U turns are not worth it. Always write a letter if you are not going to appear. And when the cops asks "why were you speeding?" tell him no reason justifies you speeding. Apologize. It works much better than saying "77!... Are you sure!?!?!?!?!?"
