No it was really listed as "5.8d" in the guidebook... I found out the d was for "old school scary hard wide crack that will eat you especially if it is snowing"

Yeah... it might be possible but doubtful. You are the first climber I have ever met that loves trad but doesn't know how hard they can climb. I would say default to the hardest thing you have led. Seems fair...

My bad. Still... my original question stands... how can you love trad climbing if you don't know how hard you climb?

I have one or two laying around You, on the other hand Mr. "I care because climbing is something special, and I don't like to people degrading it by posting on a website about climbing with all this B.S." don't own one. You do, however, think you can climb 13b trad. Perhaps your advice is best suited for yourself
