  5. yeah, i'm wearing a compress with pressure points to get rid of the fluid that is causing the swelling in my arm (which is now probably less than 1/2 the size is was in the hospital). i don't actually know how much damage I have to my lymph system in my arm at this point...but every doctor has told me that I will have permanent damage. Hopefully it won't be so bad as to really impact my climbing. There is a compress that you can wear on your arm...I don't know at this point if I'll need it. Hopefully not. And hopefully I won't have to become a cyborg just to keep my arm from ballooning up.

  8. I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
  9. also, these are the only accepted image types: .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif

  12. For those that are wondering..."How can I clog up my interweb picture tube????", here is how (or rather how to avoid it): Don't upload pictures: >larger than 10 MB in size >larger than 2500 pixels in length or width If you do, the system is not failing friendly for whatever reason...it just clogs up your tubes. So if your image is bigger than that, RESIZE IT FIRST. gracias.
  13. And after you attempt to upload a picture and it fails, it can clog up teh tubes of your interweb. If this happens, unfortunately you can't use the camera icon in the post editor to upload. You have to go to the gallery and upload pics that way. When you do that you'll be given an opportunity to uncheck the pictures that are causing the problem and clear them from your upload queue. After that you can return to using the camera icon method in the post browser (provided you don't attempt to upload an image that is to large or corrupted again).
  14. TIMMAY IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM I CAN BECOME YOU AND UNCLOG YOUR PICTURE TUBES. ITS NOT A BIG TRUCK.
  15. TOO LATE WARRANTY EXPIRE. SO SORRY.
  16. BILL. UPLOAD A PICTURE NOW!!!!
  17. try it now bill.
  18. In the meantime, here is a quick guide that I put together a while ago: 1. click on the camera button: 2. If your picture is already in the gallery, then find it in the thumbnails shown in the pop-up resulting from clicking on the camera icon: 3. You can do a bunch of stuff in the resulting pop-up: 4. After you click the "Done adding pictures button" it will take you back to your post. You'll see the pictures added as URLs in your post with the image tag ("img"). If you want your pictures displayed in full size, remove the "medium/" as shown here: Also, the pictures will just show up all in the row. You can cut and past the image links by selecting the whole image URL "" (as you see in the picture above) and pasting in to the appropriate place in your post.
  19. Damn, that sucks. Timmay put a lot of work into building a really easy way to put pictures into your posts from the photo gallery. You don't even need to upload the pictures before you start your TR/post. After you start your TR or post, you can just click on this button: add photos, and then just click on the thumbnails that are shown in the window that pops up, and they show up in your post. Maybe some people aren't getting that? I can make a guide for doing it with hints and tricks for making a TR. Also, if you're currently having a problem uploading pictures, send me a PM. I'll see if I can fix it. Thanks.
  20. anyone here live/climb with this in their arm? after my infection, i'm apparently left with permanent damage to the lymph system in my left arm, which will flare up with excessive exercise. i have no idea what this is really going to mean.
  21. Maybe use space elevator technology. By tethering yourself to the space station, you can use the solar panel which are gathering energy out in space to charge up your ipod and flashlight batteries.
  22. also, check to see if the inside of the harddrive is ok. Do this by opening up the hard drive and washing the platters on the inside with a brillo pad or steel wool.
  23. also, make sure your computer isn't set to boot off an external drive (like the DVD or CD drive) first before booting off the harddrive....if there is a disk in the CD or DVD drive then this could cause this too.
