crazy...Sao Paulo bans all advertising billboards, etc. http://www.boingboing.net/2007/04/14/sao_paulo_goes_adver.html

do you like via ferrata? and getting caught in the rain? if you're not into yoga, if you have half a brain come with me and escape
-
but are you related to him? you might be his son.

Kevin, the reason is that by "cross posting" what you're actually doing is advertising...which we don't allow except for sponors of the site. But is also goes against the spirit that we have in mind for the yardsale forum....climbers exchanging gear with climbers without some outside auction to the highest bidder. And yes Kane, I'll delete this thread next week after people have a chance to read this.
-
People! Read the rules. No ebay auctions posted in the yardsale forum. I know some people would like to do so and see no problem with it, but we would prefer to keep the yardsale a place were people can exchange gear with people, and not through an auction site. By opening it up to auctions, we'll have everyone in their dog coming here to promote their auctions, and that is not the spirit we have in mind for this forum at this time. So don't post your ebay auctions here. I'll delete these off eventually, but the reason I leave this stuff here is so that people get the message. Read the rules before you post in the Yard Sale Forum. Thanks.

well, seriously, (especially you Gary) if you would like to see this done better next year then we'll post for volunteers to help us run it next year (only rule will be that you can't have submissions if you help run it, obviously). In the meantime, the contest voting is underway and we aren't turning back. These are the pictures our panel of judges chose. So vote and if you want to start another thread about how to better do the contest next year then do so...otherwise just vote and leave this thread be. -

Well thanks to everyone, it certainly made me feel pretty good to know you cared about me. I can't wait to get out there in the snow each winter. Timmay has promised lessons! sickie I just went to the doctor and he told me that I shouldn't be climbing (because of my funked up arm) for 6 months! CRAP!!!!! Thats September!!! Well, plenty of time to get the AT setup tuned up and ready to go. Thanks again! I'll be putting it to good use. Look for me falling down a snow slope on a mountain near you soon.

What the hell is up with this amazingly witty banter? Did they start up the brain donar clinic in Portland again?

I should point out that while there are a ton of pictures here, they have been selected from a bunch more....so if you don't see yours here they didn't make the judges cut. Sorry if you didn't make the cut, but that is the hard part for us too...so many good photos! -

There you have it folks...sorry for the inconvience but the contest post doesn't seem to load with Firefox on a Mac or a PC for whatever reason. I'm not sure why this is, but in the meantime use a different browser (IE, Safari, etc). If there is anything I can do about it, I'll fix it, but that might not happen before the contest ends... so use another browser to vote. thanks to trog and dru for confirming this stuff. -

If you didn't do the impossible and remove IE from your system, can you take a look at it in IE and tell me if you're having the same problem? I promise no IE exploits will load. -

Good catch brah. Yeah...i just edited out picture 8. If you vote for that one you're throwing away your vote. Otherwise, all the images load for me and voting loads for me. What browser/ OS are you using? -
Nice...i'll be out there with my gimpy arm. This is a good opportunity to show the land managers that climbers care about Index. Also you can meet the world famous guidebook author DCramer.

Funny, I'm a young pretty lesbian too. How can I meet up with these girls?
