I'm not doing that till you answer the question I never asked you but thought of cleverly, but lacked the energy to type up. I want you to also answer why I, as a man of incredible intellect, stamina, and other awesome stuff, am without fail the last bastion of truth on CC.com. Unwaiveringly.

The properly planned trip report requires recording all events to some medium (even at the expense of actually enjoying the moment) to ensure that the TR will be properly documented.

its best to plan out how your TR will go before you actually go on it. that way it will be more bad asser, have more comedic effect, etc. like bring a silly hat and some how bring that into the story some how. if you're going for an epic TR, bring a knife to cut the rope. also, for a "crappy partner" TR, make sure you research your potential climbing partners for the worst imaginable. for instance, find that guy that Uncle Tricky climbed with! thats another story in the waiting. then just go find some really popular route on a nice weekend in the summer.

this is my favorite TR yet. i'm headed off to add it to the list.
