before you stretch you may want to warm up your calf, otherwise may eventually effect your achilles. What time of soreness? my calfs always feel the moderate ice. Depending on what access you have to a mess. therap. if you can find on or a PT which can do Myofacial release, this would help quite a bit. PAINFUL but will help.
if you take off the griprest you have nothing stopping the snow from getting in the shaft, yeah the shaft..
I have a few ideas. could probally drill the inside plastic piece of the griprest for 3mm cord and may be good to go..
anyone figured a way to set these up with a double spring w/o drilling? I dont own. But curious for future reference. looks possible. Havent looked that closly yet, just trying to save my lazy ass some time. thanks
I use the salomon 3D's too, great for trail running and approaches, like, breath great, not real stiff like approach shoes, which makes going fast for more. Light!
I have used a bulldog for a second. its better then the grivel 3rd tool, the pick is very short on the grivel so any features can make climbing difficult and in general not much pick in the ice or neve..
